Super harmless when it counts.
 
In India Boult was even dropped after poor performance in the IPL. He is like between two extremes. Can be expensive or can be lethal.
 
Where are people watching this game. It's not showing on the red button on sky sports
 
Cricket is so typical first 10 overs overcast amazing swing bowler team down 33-3 and than swing goes away batsman slowly rebuild and post a good total same old same old
 
Indian batsmen are batting worse today and they deserve this humiliation. But the fellow NZ supporter on this thread is sprouting some nonsense as if NZ did wonders in their own den. India thrashed them black and blue to win a 4-1 series against the same players who couldn't do jack a few weeks ago. :))

Do you want the modern cricket then? Where the ball does nothing and batsmen keep hitting all the way through? Why can't people just stop complaining. When the ball does a little you complain, when it doesn't you complain.

Last night pak could have won the match if they had given the second last over to a pacer but instead they bowled shadab bcoz hes a making a comeback and they wanted him to bowl in that situation
 
Azhar mahmood needs to sit Amir down and show him how boult trent and chris woakes bowl. Both of these guys are similar to amir and azhar and amir should study their bowling run up , position on the crease on release of the ball, seam position, line and length and the field settings!
Trent boult is underated in my opinion, i think hes one of the best pace bowlers in the world! Amir sure can learn alot from trent if he studies him.

Ah I see. Well my Sky Sports subscription is currently completley useless - only the England game on the red button and even that has stopped working. Royal London one day final on the main channel which is of interest to no one.
 
Hope we don't get this in the real game. English conditions can be a lottery. Always keep some technically good batsman in your side. Just in case scenaro.

He is world no.2 ranked ODI bowler only behind Bumrah. We have no.1 and no.2 bowler playing in the same match.
 
IT is way way too early for Pandya to bat in one dayers. Even in T20 even for Mumbai Indians he comes after 15th over mostly.
 
Damn Indians are so whailey overseas too packed the stadium in a warm up game to see their team get recked

Still India can get to 300 comfortably (although they may not). I think this is part of Kohli's strategy to fool the world by getting out cheaply in warmups, only to win matches by 10 wickets (or 200 runs) when it matters. Well played Mr Kohli! Well Played

DOn't worry they have won world cup twice lol Fans know their limitations. They rely on top 3. If they fail India will fail. They have made peace with it. You say you won't be disappointed when NZ gets kicked out?
 
And again for all the people making fun of India rn including me don’t get excited it’s a warm up for a reason said that in the Pakistan game to most likely India will beat newzeland in group stage maybe not for sure but maybe

with world cup warm up commencing in ramadhan, majority of Pakistani fans didnt attended.

No one expects NZ to win, we're here to play spoiler for other teams.
 
Dhawan's dismissal was the best one. Peach. Rohit's was lazy. Rahul bowled by Rahul. That is like milionth time he gets bowled in recent times. Dhoni just missed a simple slow ball
 
As soon as pitch curation is taken out of the hands of ECB, we see more bowler friendly pitches. Good covering of grass on this Oval pitch, yesterday we had a dry turner in Bristol.

Hope we see a variety of surfaces and not just easy paced roads where 350+ is scored for fun.
 
I think match was all about deciding who should bat at no.4. KL Rahul has left us with more confusion. I thought he was going to be in the starting XI .

He can bat better than Kohli on certain days. worse than Bumrah on certain days. That is why he is frustrating us. Lasttime in England he scored a fabulous T20 century full of gorgeous shots.
 
Indians have surely done themselves harm by dropping Iyer after just 6 odis.
Guy has good temprament and good skills too
 
NZ is a good fielding unit. Their big problem is they rely heavily on Boult. He can be tamed on a flat wicket. I expect England to make like 350 to 400 against this NZ side on a road.
 
These are used practice pitches not the ones the real matches will be on don’t worry it will be 400 belters
