Afridi is a great young talent. Based on what i have seen here and Aus, he is hitting close to 90mph at times.

Arshad Iqbal looks quality, strong action and generating some good pace and bounce.

He’s not beating the batsman for pace, doubt he’s 90 mph. Mohammad Ali on the other hand is generating some serious heat.

Arshad should have bowled two at the end. Does anyone else see the captain as selfish?

Arshad looks really impressive - a shed of Michel Holding in in that action. Around 6'3"?

Have you checked the record for these NZ U-19 players?? Most of them are fringe domestic starters & by those standards, I think this result is actually a win for the NZers.

Unfair on these upcoming young lads to face off against seasoned Pakistani professionals !!

Pakistan should have achieved the target in 5 overs bcoz Pakistan has larger population. Aman logic

This team could have very easily been rolled for under 150.

I haven’t been impressed with Hassan’s captaincy, he often let’s the game drag and sometimes unnecessarily uses part-timers IMO

I have noted Hassan's tendency to over bowl himself and on two occasions he brought himself on to try and get some cheap tailenders' wickets. A glaring example was in the third match when with three overs left he came on himself when the obvious choice should have been Arshad Iqbal who still had two overs left. Arshad made it all academic by taking three wickets in the 19th over. Did not impress me as a captain overall.

I guess the match today has been called off. Will check out the Ashes game.

Our boys are approaching the chase in T20 style, hope the innings doesn't end in 20 overs as well.

Taha on 44 off 24 with 4 sixes.

I didn't think of him as the six-hitting type :danish

Interesting thing in this match is that Munir Riaz, who played for Pakistan in Asia cup is now playing against them.

Game over and Pakistan U19 has won their warm up game against Namibia u19 by 190 runs. Namibia were bowled out for 107 chasing 298 to win the game in 50 overs.

Just noticed that Munir Riaz, listed as a Pak U19 member was playing for Namibia, anyone know why?
