Not in that situation, look that decision allowed Amir to bowl this second spell where he has picked up two wickets already. Touch calls, but these days it's important to save these overs for death or in the middle of the innings, especially of the bowler who is bowling well on that particular day.

I think, today probably Wahab is deciding the bowling order - I am almost crtain from the bowling strategy that it's a fast bowlers plan. Off course players learn & I think Azhar is a good student of the game, but don't this it's his decision; definitely not the approach.

But still, it's much better - "aggressive" Captain would have allowed Kiwis to walk to 200/4 in 43 overs. Ronchi is a sitting duck - hia ho won't work today.

No, dot balls always apply pressure in ODI's.

But I agree, taking him out early allowed him to bowl this spell

This was a very good move and credit to Azhar.

Initially, I thought he was going to save him for the death overs, which would have been a negative move.

Very true... Plus we have two seniors retiring, Misbah and YK , replace them with experience cricketers make sure team can transition (quality wise), not to mention 10 test in west... We desperately need them!!
