Taylor has little chance at this level now, his hand eye coordination is going and his iffy technique certainly isn't going to cover it.

Shows how easy it is to score huge runs in Oz when they do take all the grass off the tracks. Just look at Taylor and Voges!
 
I hope further rain wouldn't ruin this match. Result looks highly possible despite a full day loss.
 
We need more Indian batsmen, these angreez Kiwi's aren't good as the Indians...

Surprised we don't have many coming through.. Indians love cricket, especially batting.

Rahat and 1 four ball an over . . . it remains a constant . . His line and length is a lot more consistent in the UAE

Lol I suck, but I've seen plenty of talented young cricketers from India, SL and Pakistan.

Batsmen from those countries generally have more flair from what I've seen.

Angreez generally more technical and textbook.

Waqar slams Rahat, 50/3 and point fielder is on boundary on this wicket. That is big shame for bowler
 
Poor batting performance on a decent pitch. Should have scored much more then a paltry 130 odd. Lucky we are up against a poor batting side otherwise would be chasing at least 300 here. I am Misbah fun but the man has to play faster once the tail comes in. He should have been trying to get some quick runs when Sohail Khan walked in. Three wickets has got us back in the match.
 
People keep harassing Amir for not being up to standard when the other clownish bowlers aren't much better.

130 was quite pathetic, but can't blame Misbah here, he's the only one who looked like capable of holding down the fort before conditions improved.

Huge disappointments were Azhar, Younis, Asad and Sarfraz the supposed senior batsmen in the team.

Pitch was tough ofc, but you'd expect this batting to at least get to 220-250 on a green wicket like this.

Not entirely blaming Misbah for the poor start we got. What I am saying is that why does he not accelerate when batting with the tail? The likes of Sohail Khan and Amir will not last long at the crease. He should go for a lot more shots when in such a position.
 
Rahat is bowling according to field, short and wide on this wicket so that batter can cut, this is such a pathetic display of bowling. Who in the world bowls short and wide on this wicket??? :po:
 
Amir will get Nicolls out within 12 balls if he ramps it up.

Nicolls can't handle pace and is visibly rushed whenever up against any bowler who bowls over 140kph.
 
Rahat needs to be dropped for good. Can't bowl an over without giving away a boundary.

Need to debut Hassan Ali in tests.
 
Absolutely terrible bowling from Rahat ... needs to be dropped for good. You can't tell me that Sadaf would be worse, you just can't. He'd be lethal on this pitch!

He's also the one getting spanked and releasing all the pressure off of NZ.

Amir does deserve criticism for sure for his performance up to this point, but you're being incredibly particular about his case.

Short and wide is neither defensive or attacking, its pure pathetic bowling, like when tail unders bat. Somebody who does not know anything about bowling, will bowl those kinds of ball...
 
No warm up matches not only hurting the batsmen but also the bowlers

Tim Southee bowled 4 overs and conceded no runs, but his spell wasn't threatening just like Amir's, I would like to see Amir try, not trundle on a negative ODI line like he is doing right now

Rahat has inconsistency but he does pitch it up more than Amir.. Amir is bowling like an ODI bowler looking to conserve runs

Amir length is again too short for this wicket, ball is not going to swing at that length, disappointing stuff :(
 
Amir does something weird with his action when he is bowling with the new ball... He doesn't have the flow he used to have in his action... someone has really messed his action up.. its not as natural as it used to be

Rahat is all over the place, not exactly focus on fuller length. That does not help either on this wicket. Misbah has to replace him, he is going 4+ an over without been threatening.... Sohail was bowling better than both..
