That's true.

Hopefully, Yasir sticks around and he does play some classy shots, whilst Rahat does have some ability and did score 15* during the Eng series recently.
 
We must not give up here and should keep believing we can win the game. Need to set little milestones such as the 100 mark which can have an effect psychologically, then aim for 150 and anything above that is a bonus.

Of course it looks very unlikely and we could get bundled out in the first few overs however anything can happen in cricket.
 
If we can't chase 200 on this wicket, we are officially minnows.
 
This Sohail Khan scored 140 odd at a SR of 86 in FC cricket, time to show what he's made of.

Nah, point is the wicket is that easy to bat on, it has little to do with Pakistan reaching 260.

Even against a good attack, an average side should be able to score 200 minimum in the 4th.
 
Yeah so Sohail is not going to stick around for long with this "Allah malik hai" approach, really think he should relax and stretch this out with Shafiq. He can do it.

SK is an excellent lower order batsman. A modern ODI cricketer if we think of that format.
 
Agar kal start se ye approach hoti tu kam az kam score Ab 250/7 hota, and we would have real chance, it's not just the collapse, it's the self defeating manner in which we batted yesterday was the biggest worry.

Umm no - wicket tends to deteriorate in most places during the last days of a Test and a good bowling attack is also difficult to score off.
 
Shafiq is batting like a tailender atm, had a horrible hoick at a short ball and playing and missing quite regularly thus far.
 
Going well, hopefully Asad will stay till the end. We might get to 150 led if fights alongside tail. Is 150 defendable score?
 
Have to say even as a fan cowardly batting from Shafiq.

Sohail is protecting him instead of other way around.
 
And all of us pak fans are fearing that the so called batsman look more likelier to get out before the tailenders, don't know i should be happy for tailender, or worried for batsman.

This isn't the SC, our wickets never deteriorate to the point where a team should be struggling to chase 200 in the 4th, that too on day 4 (which is day 3 really in this case)...
 
One clear advantage of NOT playing [MENTION=107613]mhafeez[/MENTION]22 in team..at 155/7 Pak still have two reviews left unused..THIS can really help #PakvNZ #NZvPak
 
Shafiq needs to make a good score, Sohail is playing brilliant highest scorest from the Pakistanis so far.
 
Asad needs to hit out. They will easily bowl him out as soon as they get a new ball.
 
Get to a 100 and than take it from there. Each run after a 100 is a phycological blow to nz.
 
Sohail even though is the highest scorer always seems like he is gonna get out.:)))
 
Wonder if the obligatory (just when a chink of daylight is appearing) run out is on the cards
 
Shafiq is begining to find his rhythm back. Hopefully the tail can hang with him.
 
Sohail Khan is not a clever batsman. He should not bat like one.:)) just be his self.

How many teams have not struggled to chase 200 in NZ in the last 1-2 years ?
 
Its all right. He did a good job. Asad needs to keep the strike from now on.
 
Pakistan has lost a wicket on literally the first ball Ive watched each day

Day 2 was Grandhomme
Day 3 I slept in so woke up when Pak were batting and Babar got out first ball
And now Sohail

Unbelievable. Cant make this up
 
Yasir and Rahat can both hang around, need at least 120-130 to even call it a contest.

Are you serious :)) it can be all over in moments, they only need two more wickets. Would be one hell of an achievement if we manage to get 150

Can't think of anything off the top of my head.

But conditions are great for batting, I'll be shocked if a decent team isn't able to score 200+ on it.

Although there was some turn for Astle yesterday, meaning Yasir could be useful. Still don't think 200 is enough here even with Yasir in play.

Just shame how the batsmen did just tuk tuk on an eased out wicket.
