I think Rizwan might give Misbah a run for his money when it comes to being the most frustrating player to watch.

He's such a fish out of water at the crease. Flailing around and achieving nothing.
 
How many teams have we seen batting order shuffles with Misbah and Waqar.

Mickey fixed this issue in LOIs and didn’t move people around especially at the top of the order.

Yes babar azam is injured, but u have taken 5 openers in total then why make Rizwan to open and now Haider to open pushing Shafique to one down. These two can destroy youngsters at will.

One bad match things change , they are too meek mindsets to be in charge of building a team. Sooner PCB realised this will be better for them.
 
All these couch potatoes suddenly calling Abdullah trash and untalented based off one of his first few international games, and that as well a T20 in NZ (a format which he isnt suited to).

Give it a rest. He is talented and has skill, this just isnt his format. Understand the fact that Pakistan doesn't have a set in stone team anymore and we are back in the "experimental formation" phase again. Jeez.

Isn't that almost every sena seamer in subcontinent?
His extra bounce will make him slightly better than the rest
 
I don’t know who said it on here recently but they were spot on that Hafeez’s good shots are genuinely elite level and wouldn’t look out of place if played by among the very best batsmen of the game’s history. However, it was his inability to really cut down his poorer shots out of his game which really stopped him from becoming a top level batsman. Every great batsmen usually has an array of 5-6 shots where he makes the bulk of his runs so focuses on that but hafeez never did that.
 
Tail-ender departs. Can’t get lucky every day.

Shadab batting at 5 in international cricket is pure comedy. Just take a look at other number 5s in the world.
 
Why wouldn't Shan Masood play? He is not ideal but has a decent PSL/National T20 record. He is 1000000 times better than useless tailenders we have at the top.

Pakistan playing 2 proper spinners again on a pitch where pacers have wrecked havoc.

Hafeez has improved his batting by leaps and bounds. He wasn't anywhere near this good in the first 200 games of his career.

The moment he realized his bowling is going to go, he has put in the hard work in his batting and it is paying off.

I always have my respect for players who have the will to improve.

If we're being honest here, he's pathetic and should look for an alternative career.
 
All shadab had to do was to give single to hafeez, but why do the common sense thing when you can do be the Hero. Zero game awareness.

An Indian batting coach made that observation on Twitter during the England tour and I recently paraphrased him. I can’t find the tweet now, but that is what he basically asserted.

This is the reality of Shadab. He's a part timer who is a horrible bowler and can swing wildly with the bat and we've made him our captain.
 
This too much for the youngsters in the team. Experience counts and we are missing Barbar surely.

After the humiliation on friday they still havent learned how to play the extra bounce. Abdullahs and shadabs awfull ways to get out are proof of that. I wonder what younis khan was writing about yesterday.
 
Too much cricket in one type of condition. Shadabs batting still needs to be proven in these conditions.
 
Where is the person who was arguing with me on the last game thread about Hafeez not belonging in the team

He has no business batting at 5 but our clueless management / coach think otherwise.

He is a number 8 batsman at best who can hit 20 - 30 quick runs at most.
 
Khushdil already struggling with the bounce. Won’t last long
 
Had to play sensible cricket not slog here especially with bounce issues ..commies are saying too why bat first i dont understans twice now why wud u do that
 
No Pak commentators either shows how poor they are to go with their shambolic planning if there ever was any
 
Kushdil shah 2 to 3 balls on offside dots 1 ball on legside instant run.
