I think this is EXACTLY where the problem is. And this is EXACTLY why he has difficulty in controlling the line and length. The back of his hand is facing towards mid wicket. There is quite a big of an angle that his wrist has to quicly twist and make the back of his hand face towards the umpire just before the ball leaves his hand.
