I hope I don't curse him but Babar Azam is just batting like a dream.

He looks so much at ease. He's showing a lot of elegance in his shots.

His defensive game has been much improved as well which looked suspect earlier.

Just hope he keeps his head down because he can go really far.

We would have good chance to make a come back if we had lost 3 wickets at most, now with the worst tail it's all about this wicket and it's game over, yesterday in other two tests we saw how important it is to have a strong lower order and tail which can actually bat, yesterday starc innings may prove to be the match winning, this 4 specialist bowlers who are no.11s with the bat can take you so for unless they are atg bowlers and the 7 batsman are very very good, and we know thats not the case and it's almost impossible formula for even the best teams, so unless we have some good and utility all rounders we are bound to struggle away from those UAE roads.

Actually, in Test things are a bit different as there is no Run Rate issue - if one of these 2 gets a hundred & the tail put values to their wickets, still a lead is possible. 2nd ball is still 41 overs away & Kiwis don't have much of spin attack, it's possible - key is an unbeaten hundred by one of these 2.
