This is why i am so angry at azam he was the one who had to attack the pacers but know they should keep taking those single and the odd boundary will come.

If Younis Khan can rotate the strike and Sarfraz plays aggresively I say we still have an outside shot
 
time for younis to get some form back against tired bowlers. I guess this is the only benefit of azhar's and sami's innings beside this draw.

Chalo, I should keep my mouth shut or people will look for witch hunting - I knew he'll get out, slogging is opposite to his core game. Just like PCB thinks that UAE is great venue for PAK against their core, most people was thinking Sami is playing selfish .......... he did his role perfectly, should have played for the hundred. Statistically, PAK batsmen are poorest in world compared to capability for these sort of stupidity - it's a no win situation & I can bet that IND would have ended the day 222/1 .. with Pujara 100* & Bijay 107*.........

What was likely to happen if they went for the chase after tea is exactly happening.

The batsmen will go gung ho and try to score fast, which will create more chances in the process. 3 or 4 wickets will fall, Pakistan will then shut up shop and play for the draw. Chasing 210 in a session in test cricket is close to impossible. If they wanted to go for the chase, they should have batted around 3 run rate in the previous sessions.

Can't compare Pakistan to anyone , someone's flawed, sometimes genuis . Don't want it to be predictable & boring like India /Bangladesh.
 
beause of utter stupidity in last 15 overs, pakistan will lose this match

first sami aslam had no business to try hitting every ball.he is not a good hitter. he needed to stay and let sarfraz hit

second, they played very slow in middle overs and there is no way they can now score 6-7 runs an over and they are now just losing wickets by playing stupid shots

third, if we lose one more wicket, kiwis will take the new ball and very little chance we can defend 20 overs given our pathetic tail enders

YK has got to pull rather than leave the bouncers at this stage.

Avoiding 2-0, that's 2.3 points in ranking table, keeping history of never been clean swept by Kiwis & a nice confidence boaster for AUS tour.

As I said, if win was a target asking should never have gone beyond 5 - there is nothing half measures.

He won't go for the chase, he has played enough - might get out, because in this light he'll see half the ball.
 
There is one guy in the lineup who's playing at almost 80 SR with zero fuss whatsoever !!

Why can't others do the same ??

They gave up ages ago when Sami and azhar played at 1.5 for 60 overs.
 
Promote sohail and tell him to slog he is not a bat but never know he can added 20-40 runs

0 (1) or 6 (2) - shallow characters don't stand any chance when chips are down - this game is about character, may be YK'll dance his way out to save this Test, he had lots of that.

Should be attacking, Pakistan are on the back foot now.
 
If the plan was to win then sami and azhar must be held accountable. If they are trying to mask this stupid approach now it will result in our loss
