Because dropping Ajmal from the role he does so well would do wonders for his confidence.

And why are you talking as if he doesn't have other elements to his bowling which help him boost his confidence ?

He's a great bowler anywhere during the innings. But giving him the last over is ALWAYS a risk. In T20's, particularly if we're defending, it should be made sure that risks of these sort at the least are eliminated.

Its either miss or hit. Which isn't a particularly good thing for the team and Ajmal himself.

But again its just my opinion. Yours can be different as it is. I think this role shouldn't have been given to him in the first place as it basically has "danger" written over it. And now that we had seen an example against Aus, I expected a rectification of this extravagant idea without Ajmal or anyone sweating too much over it.
