Now that Peshawar and Quetta have progressed, is it time to test youngsters?

Peshawar and Quetta have qualified for the play-offs.
Now they must give chances to the youngsters and test the bench strength.

Peshawar should rest Hasan Ali and play Sameen Gul. One of Kamran/Umar/Imam should make way for the emerging Nabi Gul. They can also test Samiullah.

Quetta must try Saud and Asghar. They are one of the most promising cricketers in Pakistan ATM. Saud can play in place of Umar Akmal and Asghar can be accommodated in some way too.

Why should they? It’s a private league with franchises owned by private investors. They will play the best xi to put themselves in the best position. It’s not domestic cricket run by the PCB where they should test bench strength.

I would like to see Saud Shakeel play but I don't think either team will make many changes.

It was surprising to see Shehzad playing in the middle order rather than Saud Shakeel in the last match.

As much as I agree with the OP their still standings they have to play for both teams want to make sure they finish 1st and 2nd so they go to the qualifier stage rather than the eliminator stage were if you lose their your automatically out, qualifier stage still gives you a chance even if you lose, but if you win your automatically in the finals so every team will try to finish 1st or 2nd.

Also looking at the rankings, and number of games left

Peshawar and Quetta have not automatically qualified yet, but are almost their but not officially yet lol

Quetta is actually poor when it comes to giving chances to youngsters.

This is the second season and Saud hasnt played a game. Boggles my mind.

Eagerly waiting for Saud Shakeel & Nabi Gul to be given not one but two games atleast.

Also expect Ahsan Ali to score 50 + in atleast one innings. Hasn't fully shown his batting class uptil now. He must value these chances.
