Batting positions 3 to 7, only one middle order Pakistani batsman has hit a century in a game against India in the entire history of World cup and Champion Trophy matches between these two countries.

One man who did it is Shoaib Malik and Pakistan won that match.

It does not come as a surprise that Pakistan has repeatedly lost to India in big tournaments when no middle order batsman, barring one, has ever played a substantial innings against India. You simply cannot win a match if your batting chokes in the middle overs. Will it be different this time and one of Babar, Sarfraz, and Malik will take on Indian spinners and part-timers?
