Osama Bin Laden is DEAD

Till these incompetent fools who are governing this state don't go away we wont see any progress in Pakistan. We have to bring some one who is straightforward person like Imran.

to the Indian trolls, plz shut your traps and worry about your own problems..

Firstly the ISI was involved in the planning of this operation..pasha met panetta on April the 11th and this was one topic of discussion..the ISI had located OBl and a joint op was carried out to elimnate the target..

ISI ground teams were involved..you can see them in the geo report for a few seconds..

Zardari was not informed till later..the americans realise his time is up..

Ssg personell were also involved..

The mission was carried out using teams based at tarbela ghazi

these are the basic facts..I must say cnn's reporti g has been ver objective but the BBC and the uk media are being their pro India selves..luckily there is a vote on Thursday and as usual people will forget after 2moro..

Garuda please stop talking out of your behind and stop playing the nice Indian routine here!!

What was ISI doing for 5 years when he was living a life of luxury in his mansion among military personal? And why is the Pakistani goverment denying ISI involvement? And your proof is a blurred image on TV which looks like an ISI guy? Unless you work for ISI yourslef, whats your source

Fear of retaliation.

Surprised that Osama was in Abbottabad: Musharraf 2011-05-02 15:50:00 London, May 2 (IANS) Former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf said Monday he was surprised Osama bin Laden was in Abbottabad, just a short distance from capital Islamabad. He also termed the US strike against the Al Qaeda leader a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty. 'It does surprise me but I don't know the details. I don't know whether he was staying there or was he coming and going from there,' Musharraf told CNN-IBN, after US President Barack Obama announced in Washington that the world's most wanted terrorist had been killed in a US-led operation. Calling it a victory of people, Musharraf said:'He had declared war against Pakistan and many of the terrorist attacks in Pakistan had the hand of Al Qaeda and therefore his hand. This is the victory for the people of Pakistan and all the peace loving people of the world.' Musharraf, who was the Pakistani presidentwhen the 9/11 strike occurred, said the operation by US forces was a 'violation of our sovereignty'. 'I would like to point out one sensitivity of Pakistan and its people and that it's a violation of the sovereignty of Pakistan. American troops coming across the border and taking action in one of our towns, that is Abbotabad, is not acceptable to the people of Pakistan,' he said. 'It would have been far better if Pakistani Special Services Group had operated and conducted the mission. To that extent, the modality of handling it and executing the operation is not correct.' He said the operation was 'a failure of both Pakistani and US intelligence'. 'Well, I don't know the reason and the exact details of involvement of our intelligence, troops or the government of Pakistan but it was a violation of our sovereignty. Now as far as the trust is concerned, if it is lacking then it is very bad because we are fighting the same enemy,' he said. Responding to a query, Musharraf said: 'If there is lack of trust, it is very bad. We are fighting the same enemy.' 'We are fighting Al Qaeda and Taliban and Pakistan is totally on board on fighting them. Now the modalities of it are debatable and the issue of lack of trust is very bad. If two organistaions are conducting an operation with a common enemy, there has to be trust and confidencein each other,' he said. The former president said that there is a likelihood of an agitation against the violation of Pakistan's sovereignty. 'I don't think there is any local official collusion but there is a possibility of some local people colluding. It's a training centre of various armed services. They are oriented towards training of recruits and cadets,' he said. According to Musharraf, US President BarackPresident Obama also said that the Pakistani intelligence cooperated 'so I would like to commend ISI for their achievement with American intelligence forfinally spotting and getting Osama'. 'Let us take this at a battle has been won but the war against Al Qaeda continues. We shouldn't be simplistic and consider this the elimination of Al Qaeda,' he said. When asked about how the Pakistan military was harbouring terrorists as has been proved by Osama's killing in Pakistan, Musharraf said: 'The extremists and terrorists have developed a nexus from India to Afghanistan. Indian and Pakistani extremists, Taliban, Al Qaeda are all involved.' 'So, it's a complicated issue and let's not simplify and put the whole blame on the Pakistan army. We are taking a very simplistic view on this,' he added.

Btw if Osama has been thrown out to sea what has happened to his wife and child?...

Serious question...

Islamabad: 'I don't think it's genuine' said one on Facebook. 'Why do I get the sinking feeling that all hell is about to break loose inPakistan,' tweeted another. Many in Pakistan reacted with disbelief Monday to news of Osama bin Laden's death, while some were angry with the US for killing himon Pakistani soil. Many Pakistanis questioned the timing of the operation, citing that the US presidential elections were due. Others saidthe death of bin Laden need not necessarily mean the end of terrorism in their own country. When Pakistan denied Osama was in Pakistan The Al Qaeda leader was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan, ending a 10-year manhunt that intensified with the traumatic Sep 11, 2001 terror attack. US President Barack Obama announced the news of his death. Commenting on TV presenter Nadeem Malik's post on Facebook, Faysal Raza, an alumni of Bahria University in Islamabad, wrote: 'I think sooo this News is not genuine. US election will be held next year. This News will help Obama to win election. Nothing else.' Nabiha Chauhdry from Karachi: (Breaking News) Tehreek e Taliban says the reports ofOsama bin Laden's death are false. So Osama Bin Laden killed? By US forces operation inside Pakistan, Abbotabad (near 'Eezlamabad'). Would the War on Terror be over now? The news should read: 'US elections near, Pakistan elections near, ruling parties' popularities on ever low; NOW-Osama bin Laden dead!' Rehan Awan from Peshawar wrote: 'Thank you Mr. President but we need to see the evidence, dead body and where this operation took place and who participated in this operation.' Nadeem Khan: 'It happened in Pakistan and announced by American President? Waah!' Some are fearing the situation will worsen after the Killing of Osama. 'Hahaha... Ab halaat kharab honge... Aur OSAMA BIN LADEN (SHAHEED) ki qurbania rang laayain gi... Insha Allah,' Haider Khan from Karachi expressed his fears. Lahore-based teacher-writer Nabiha Meher Shaikh too anticipates the worst. He wrote: 'Why do I get the sinking feeling that all hell is about to break loose in Pakistan?' Islamabad: Osama bin Laden was killed in a helicopter raid on a mansion in an area north of the Pakistani capital, U.S. and Pakistani officials said on Monday. Four helicopters launched the attack in the Bilal area of Abbottabad, about 100 kilometers (62 miles) north of Islamabad, said a Pakistani intelligence official. One of the helicopters crashed after it apparently was hit by fire from the ground, the official said. He gave no word on casualties. US warns of al-Qaida reprisals over bin Laden He said the helicopters took off from a Pakistani air base in the north of the country. Women and children were taken into custody during the raid, he said. He spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information. A U.S. official, also speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the raid was on a mansion close to Islamabad. Announcing the operation in a televised statement in Washington, President Barack Obama said the operation took place Sunday. Bin Laden took a path of fanaticism and terror The news that bin Laden was killed close to Islamabad will raise questions of how he managed to evade capture and how long hehad been there. Most U.S. intelligence assessments had placed him along the lawless border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Wohoooooooo half the world in chaos, trillions of dollars spent, hundreds of thousands dead but they got him....and it only took them 10 years. Go America!!!!

Who seen the benazir interview on utube?????? Where she said he died ages ago!

America: Blowing the **** out of the innocent until they finally hit someone they meant to since 1861.

Finally. Now the withdrawal can start and we can all live happily ever after...

No,expect reprisals from this. The Taliban will be after revenge.

But WOW. OBL is dead, one of the moments people will remember for the rest of their lives.

Hamid Mir saying that OBL's 12 year old daughter recovered alive from the house by ISI. Says she saw her father being killed and then taken away by the US soldiers.

Afghan Taliban wont care and won't be after revenge.

The media is having a field day and could be adding all sorts off fake news in to the story, I for one am just looking for them to provide proof in the case of Images, no images means fake story.

How can anyone possibly trust the media and politicians, we need evidence for the world to see that this story is true.

In the case of it being true, well for those thinking that now the world is at peace are entirely wrong, a backlash will begin and Osama's supporters will look to gain revenge.

10yrs ago was 9/11, today Bin Laden has been killed supposedly, How will the next 10yrs fare?

The Americans didn't take his 12 years old daughter with them as she hid in a corner when all that was going on. He had 2 of his wives present with him out of which one got a gun shot on her leg and later gained consciousness.

How can army not be aware? They came into our air space- was the army sleeping?

Some gruesome pictures have come out of the room they were all in and most of the room is covered in blood.

Let's all wait for ISPR explanation.

A lot of people don't believe 9/11 even after video proof and other proofs given after investigation.

So there will always be different theories.

So that means....its over ?

The war should end now,no reason to prolong it.

The BBC's Rahimullah Yusufzai in Peshawar says

that the death of Osama Bin Laden means that al-Qaeda cannot now operate effectively as a military operation. "Although Bin Laden will be identified as a martyr, al-Qaeda will not have the same strength and importance," he said. Our correspondent says that Bin Laden's deupty, Ayman al-Zawahiri does not have the same status as him and will inherit an organisation that is "diminished in strength".

May be they realized it was actually noora chacha and not OBL :P

LOL Too right

No Body - No Evidence

How can you believe the same lot that said there was weapons of mass destruction in Iraq etc...

If he is dead then now get the F*** out of the muslim world.....

The Taliban have even come out to say that they will launch attacks on Pakistani leaders, Army and the US.

If Pakistan's military helped in this operation, then they deserved the credit and should have been mentioned in Obama's speech. His speech make it look like they acted solo in this operation.

The BBC's Rahimullah Yusufzai in Peshawar says

This "killing" of Bin Laden and the way Pakistan can now be blamed as a scapegoat for the lack of progress because they played a double game suggests to me that the Afghan war is finished.

America can go home with a bit of pride. The public are satasfied. Nobody will remember the deaths of troops or the trillions of dollars.

Mission Accomplished.

Right, give us our $35billion dollar reward Obama !

Pakistan have suffered probably more damage in this War than $35bn but that is the estimate.

Good PR stunt by Obama and Co. When are the next US election? or Are they planning to leave the region by fabricating this story to pretened some dignity. Ofcourse other possiblity is to keep the strong hold on corrupt auhtorities in our country and to supress any protest against american involvement in our country. In any case win-win-win for US.

which taliban. Mullah omars taliban or the pakistani taliban?

ttp

ehsanullah ehsan, a spokesman for tehrik-e-taliban pakistan (ttp), or taliban movement of pakistan, told reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location: "now pakistani rulers, [pakistani president asif ali] zardari and the army will be our first targets. America will be our second target."

Thanks Markhor. Afghan Taliban are probably quite happy deep down that they have got rid of him.

I have one thing to say to USA government - PICs/VIDs of STFU!

When Saddam was captured, and his sons killed, the media plastered us with photographic evidence. Strange how this all ties in with all what's going on in the Middle East.

Obama - you're a blagger!

General Kayani's term as Army chief has been quite successful.

OBL dead.
Baitullah Mehsud dead.
Taliban driven out of Swat and South Waziristan.
Dramatic decrease in suicide bombings.

The ISI HQ will now be drawing up a list of demands from the US.

The first sign of retaliation has probably started with a blast in Char Sadah, Peshawar where some 10 people have been killed.

Dare I ask but is there a possibility that Pakistan's intelligence (ISI) actually harbors terrorists or even trains them?

The BBC's Aleem Maqbool in Islamabad says: "The authorities here are hailing this as a huge victory, but the amount of time it took them to react to the news suggests it was as much a surprise to them as everyone else. It is astonishing that the trail to Osama Bin Laden did not lead to a cave, or tunnels in the tribal areas, but here to the beautiful, lush, green hills of Abbotabad."

So he was actually found in Abbottabad, not Islamabad. That scares me since I'm from there lol. Anyone have more detailed news like where in Abbotabad, etc?

Heard of paragraphs?

To be honest, I didn't bat an eyelid when I found out about the news. I don't know why.

And a lot of things are fishy here. (I'm a big conspiracy theorist, btw)

The picture of 'dead Osama' is most likely a fake.

What do you guys think of this picture? Sorry if it's already been posted, haven't really read through the thread in its entirety.
