PAK vs WI....2nd Test match DAY 3!

Ghul has again been by far our best bowler, from the look of figures.
24 - 11 - 41 - 1
 
even after a huge opening partnership and this onslaught by Lara one can't say that WI are right on top because a wicket here and the game will be fairly even!
 
I also just had a look at Lara's score against Kaneria.

He has scored 60 runs of 29 balls from Kaneria.
That's a shalacking if I've seen one.
 
In comes Bravo who is Imran Khan plus Gary Sobers plus Keith Miller plus Freddy Flintoff all rolled into one
 
I don't think it will change the way Lara plays. He knows he is the heart and soul of this team. If he starts going defensive, the other players may think they have to attack. Its smart play by Lara, just poor that the other batsmen aren't able to take advantage of it.

He won't be embarassed, Razzak is a part-timer. Ghul is a strike bowler. If anything the selectors should be embarassed for picking Razzak when we could have done with another strike bowler.
 
i saw on tv Waqqar was giving some tips to Kaneria I hope he didnt tell him to bowl full toss and flighted ones to LARA...

still razzak should be embarassed with his bowling performance.. i mean if you are in the team as a bowling alrounder at least bowl straight .. :20:

I think he's only one short of Tendulkar now to become the highest century maker ever.

Stop it...It's backfiring....do it for the other batsmen it doesn't work for lara
 
Lunch break at the best time possible. The fast bowlers can come back rejuvenated and hopefully get a few good strikes. Then once Lara is gone, Kaneria will come in and clean up the tail and no one will remember the slaughter of Kaneria by Lara.

Agreed. we must get rid of this danger as soon as possible and limit lead to under 100 runs.
 
Is it one of those pitches where every tom, dick and harry made runs last season? Lara is setting his record straight in Pakistan. It would be an understatement to say that 400 is under threat!!

If you've noticed I've only done it for the other batsmen so far. Its effectivness hasnt been noticed because of how well Lara has been playing

Some swing with the new ball other than that nothing much.

lara has hammered kaneria and Razzi other two has done reasonbly well
 
All in all Lara took pakistani bowlers to cleaners and in the process he is tied with tendulkar for most hunders in test match.
Except Gul all of our bowlers suffered ,specially Razzak and Danish ,Today I seen what lara can do with the bat.
Simply amexing.

Quite frankly he hasn't looked good against Gul
 
Now as for pakistan ,we need to get tight in the field as well as with our bowling and attack everyone except lara ,it will be in our favor if we can keep him of the strike ,or else???

i assume bravo has a few more deliveries to survive!
 
pakistan should aim for personal runs glory in 2nd innings. Pitch looks like a paradise if you apply yourself rather than chase wide balls.


was watching the brian lara over from kaneria...kaneria was just giving him hit me balls.
