bakwaas innings..he should have hit a six and then gone for the shot again and again ...that way he would either have gone to the pavilion or hit all teh runs required in 5 overs..what a beast..but alas he succumbed to that age old requirement thankfully lacking in our players..common sense!
Were any of you guys watching the match? It was a useful innings but at the time when Rameez got out the run rate was climbing and he was CLEARLY stuck in a rut.. he couldn't find the gaps or time the ball and it was increasing the pressure on Hammad who thankfully kept hitting boundaries. So congrats to him for the innings but it was good for us that he got out when he did.
Credit should be given where due ... I must give credit to west indies for finally dismissing him and got us out of the trouble.
This game should have won by us in 30 to 35 overs max had rameez been dropped at # 10
Mate, this is possibly the most idiotic threat I have read in a while. What is the point of trying to chase it down in 30-35 overs when its a 50 over match? The kid held one end together while Hamad was going well. He tried to accelerate and got out. I think he played second fiddle to Hammad very well. Now lets say he had taken your approach and got out early trying for the big shots. The 'in-form' Waqas comes in at something like 5/70. You really think that is a better situation?
Your entire posts have shown you have absolutely no understanding on the game of cricket. If you like quick scoring, you should wait until Pakistan fields a baseball team and support them. Cricket is above all, a thinking man's game. And, under the circumstances, that was a very mature innings from Rameez Aziz. Anyone with half a mind will testify to that.
OK seriously tell me how many times (actually just give me one eg) when Malik has won us the match due to his batting while pak batting 2nd on a green top?
