What a player, Hammad Azam!!! He needs a specialist batting -and bowling coach who can help him to the next step so he just doesn't vanish from the cricket arena as many other u19 talents.

Hammad Azam is a bloody legend at this Under 19 level. Still hasnt got out once, scored over 150 runs. At a strike rate well over 100. Shabaash boy. :14: :14: :14:

But this Mohammad Waqas, loves throwing his wicket away :po:

Boneheaded shot.

So close and he does that. He's played so well only only to get out like that. Not smart.

Anyways.. hopefully nothing crazy happens.

Waqas did this in the quarter final as well. disappointing. but he played well. great partnership.

Hammad Azam is yet to get out in this tournament and he has batted in 5 innings and 161 runs! Wow!

To top all of this.. he's got most of those runs in pressure situations while chasing.

What a guy!

THANK YOU WI for dismissing Rameez Aziz

Otherwise we would have probably shattered under the mounting pressure and had lost the game.
Thanks for getting him out of the way.

He did well to keep his wicket when we were strugglin at 49/4. Yes he went a bit slow, but at the time he was run out was when he would have started accelerating (either made some fast runs or lost his wicket anyway).

He shares my name.

How dare you?

Do you ever bat, and if so is your strike rate similar to this Rameez and Rameez Raja?

What a stupid post. Some players take time to settle. Atleast he didn't perish early, and put Pakistan under more pressure. It takes 2 guys to form a partnership, and he did that. Credit where its due.

Golden Duck.Caught on the boundary while going for a home run

Yes, he WON us the match with a great support role! For Hammad to score, the other end NEEDED to be protected. Can you imagine if we were -- lets say 88/6 or something like that. I think, this kid played extremely well in the circumstances. He may win us the final also.

What a STUPID thread!

We MUST get out of this getting on the back foot approach for no apparent reason. Where the heck is the bravery element?
With the exception of Holder, this was such an ordinary bowling attack that this score should have been reached in 30 overs.
Why the heck we keep making things difficult for us?
I stick to my point ... probability of us losing this game would have increased had Rameez been there for longer.

boys have chased sucessfully three close games...

what a surprise?

These u-19 Pak sides are ridiculously consistent at winning. Jeez.

Too bad because of the poor domestic structure, these guys struggle on the step up to international standard.

He did well initially to keep his wicket and bad after that when the situation changed and we needed to score runs... so yea it was best for Pakistan that he got out

Excellent batting by Hammad Azam. Mohammad Waqas, Rameez Aziz and Ahsan Ali were good too.

Aziz had trouble rotating the strike but his innings was valuable because he didnt lost his wicket.
