That's why it's best to go bang bang with Azam and Iftikhar. Realistically if one of them even scores 30 off 15 or 40 off 20. We got our start that we need. Then Babar and Rizwan can come in to consolidate. Because Azam and Iftikhar on current conditions and form won't be getting you quick 30/40 at the death.

Azam and chacha will be walking wickets with the new ball in any conditions even roads.

As much as I hate Babar but Shaheen needs to be kicked out followed by Rizwan, Ifti, Rauf then Babar

They have a chance , it almost seemed like last 2 matches were thrown away at the end . Thats how poor they played , no insinuation but in an ideal world an investigation after the tournament takes place .

For the moment, Pakistan still in it so fans should back the team .

In the USA game, US was in contrl until end when they threw it away but the guy who played slow hit a boundary in the last ball to take it to super over.

Agree on the Indian one.

Winning even a game and all these culprits will be retained. Better loose all these matches to see some proper change rather than hear no talent, not enough time for experiments and keep same old rubbish

What does this say about squad selection when we are forced to play Shadab as a batter. Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal would have improved the balance so much more.

We could have played Aamer instead of Rauf and played Abrar as a specialist spinner.

Not to mention Abbas Afridi will be warming the bench. Because you can not play 5 pacers together.

Happens to the best of us, I lost it when India lost home series to England didn't want for an year lol until the next home series against Aus which we won (2012)
 
The tournament starts today for Pakistan. As usual, we have had the crap customary start to a tournament. Now we are cornered, it's time to show why we are known as being unpredictable. Easy win today against Canada followed by beating Ireland. No problem guys. We are bound for the super 8s . Have faith.

Pakistan are not good chasers. Their strength is still their bowling even though the bowling is also not that good.

Abbas would be really effective on these pitches as he bowls at the stumps on a good length unlike the superstar bowlers like Shaheen and Amir who can't even bowl one side of a wicket most days.

They are decent chasers in T20.
 
Open with Fakhar and Saim, Babar one down and send Rizwan after him. Well that is our batting anyway!

I'm watching precisely because I gave up on this team after the USA loss. Now it's just for entertainment value, not really invested in the result. If they win great, if they lose it's kinda funny.

As a Pakistani fan, the current circumstances are heartbreaking. But as a Canadian as well, I've been waiting a long time for this match. It's a thriller for me

afridi played a blinder in both semi & final to lift the trophy in England . One of the best ever tournaments played by Pakistan .

Now these lot are bottle merchants .

Ireland will likely lose to USA .

Some of these folk are playing their last match for a while … until the next chairman of the in political party .

A Pak loss again & again to Ireland would be the best for the future but you have to support your team on match day

I thought you'd be here today bro, your home country of birth and home country of current occupancy are playing.

Whatever the outcome its a win win for you, only drawback its in USA and not Canada, otherwise you'd be able to attend live as well.
 
What does Shadab have over Babar? Why is Shadab undroppable? He offers only something in the field and many times he just overthrows.
