I mean common, wahab and amir are known quantities, should have played one of the younger bowlers in their place to see if we can try then in the actual games.

I see no point in selecting youngsters to warm benches.

If your going to pick them, then atleast try them out in the practice matches.

Need a good score to chase down to test the batting.

If we get them out for 120, our batting wont get the practice it needs.

Hopefully they score 170, doesn't matter if we lose, atleast get batting practice at proper strike rates.

Australia's team vs Sri Lanka in the first game didn't feature a single player under 25 years of age. The 2nd game featured 1, Billy Stanlake, who turns 25 on Monday. With the world cup in less than 12 months teams are now looking to play their best XIs instead of treating the format as a polishing ground for youngsters.

Nevertheless with this being a warm up, one of Hasnain or Musa should've played over Wahab or Amir who are pretty experienced and have been on multiple tours of Australia

And now he's considered an important member of the team and is going around giving advice to the young fast bowlers. If Wahab came up to me to give me advice I would just run and not look back. He has a bad run up, bad wrist position. He averages mid 30s yet he is treated like a legend.
