I do not rate him. He's a short term band aid option like Shinwari. No harm in having him as a back up though.

He has played less because he was scouted by Lahore qalandars not the domestic route AFAIK.

They tried to bank on Agha, Nawaz, & Salman and it's a fair gamble. Today even Agha has 2 wickets and probably the most crucial breakthroughs.

The issue is that why are we selecting a bowler who never gets a game? And, when he gets his chance it’s only one game.

All we want is for him to be given a consistent run so we can determine whether he’s good enough or not. Why waste a spot in the squad over a bowler that won’t be played?

If my memory serves me correct Wasim J performed well in the world cup. Rauf always gets smashed a lot, other than that Aussie series in Australia. No point keeping Wasin in the squad when you give him one match opportunity after 3 or 4 series. If he is not good enough then drop him from the squad, but we have seen enough of Rauf, and he has lost so many crucial games for Pakistan almost single handed.
