Pakistan [185/9] trounce South Africa [108/9] by 33 runs (DLS) in a crucial T20 World Cup victory

Shadab stealing the motm. I wanted chacha to get it.

So yeh phatta wicket indian posters?

Shadab is Pakistans MVP in this format. He is the difference between Pakistan's bowling and others.

shadabbbbbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyyy
best bowling unit
batting has been great
def deserve semis

Mamoon and shadab takes another and that to with a wet ball. And a so called phatta wicket according to indians

At least the spinner has worked out bowl it fuller than shorter.

Shadab won us the match congrats only if we have beaten Zimbabwe that day

SA run rate is good though. They don’t need it smash it after getting a decent start.

shadab needs to play test cricket for pakistan. just wasting himself playing dozens of leagues.

Out of all the games Babar decided to give 7th over to pacer. In Sydney against the worst players of spin

India will want Pak to win here as NZ is going to top the other group. All are aware about how bad India's record against NZ in ICC knockouts. With SA losing today India can now top the group and face either Australia or England with whom they have better record compared to NZ

You better pray that you havent called it too early. Still plenty of cricket left.

South Africa should bat intelligently here and even they lose...lose it with small margin of runs

This has to be one of the best ever T20I performances by a Pakistani player.

Shadab showing again why he is going to be one of our best ever.

Should be the captain in LOIs going forward.

That Shadab Khan over will have won Pakistan the game if we don't get any more play.

this is outrageous , just to have a BBL in good summer season they totally Fup the t20 wcup.Coukdnt they play in december.?

If this game ends here due to rain, Shadab would have won Pak this game singlehandedly. Honestly what a performance from him so far.

Don't know bro our players decline with the captaincy pressure

He thrives on it. It's what turned him around at Islamabad.

Mickey really was onto to something when he said Shadab is the future captain in the making.

All weather forecats site indicating no rain in Sydney. May be this might be a short break due to passing cloud.

Even if its rained off SA will get 1 point and have the best NRR

Too much confusion on this thread

If points are equal, do you go ahead if you have more wins or better NRR?

If that’s the case, SA will be out and Pakistan will go through

BTW did anyone notice the bajwa banner in the stadium.
:)) hopefully he doesn't have to come back to pak or that could get them in trouble

More wins. I was also confused on this but someone cleared it.

Not sure why people are still concerned about NRR. Pak just needs to win. If Pak and SA have the same number of points they look at wins first and if they do end up on the same number of Points Pak will have more wins and go through assuming they beat Bang

Pak and SA playing yet Sky choses to show Eng vs Nl match from past. Paksitan matches are rarely shown.

If points are equal fiorst the number of wins are considered and then the NRR. f SA loses today and SA vs NED rainedoff and Pak win against BD then Pak will go through.

Bangladesh v Pakistan is essentially a QF if that’s the case

They will also aim for 6 points

If there is no more rain, no more upsets in the rest of the matches, SA and INdia go through. If there is a rain in SA match then it comes down to NRR between SA and Pakistan. SA will win there as well. Only two scenarios will help Pakistan

1) SA losing to Netherlands
2) India losing to Zimbabwe

The highlights of Pakistan's batting effort earlier:
