It’s in our best interest for Imam to play PSL. Is an opportunity for him to work on his SR in a still high pressure scenario. Though you can’t force PSL teams to pick him.Masood & imam must have some lethal contacts imam was playing for a PSL team if I’m not mistaken
You'd see the sameWhat would happen if Bangladesh scored 250+?
Fakhar was immense initially because he had that novelty factor which wore thin as time passed by as is the case with most Pakistani players.Since 2019 Imam has been a better opener than fakhar. Fakhars was immense first two years or so. Even though he still scores has been in and out of form constantly. Even used to perform in t20s then too.
I've been here long enough to see how this ends. The humble pie will come when Pakistan is knocked out of the WC this year in embarrassing fashion. You won't be able to take the heat and will end up leaving the forum. It's the same story as always from the green tinted hype brigade. Always obsessed about mediocrity until you get brought down to Earth.A strike rate of 80 is solid, you're forgetting that alot of strike rates are inflated. Shubman gill's so called 102 strike rate when he made like 10 of 31 against Pakistan and was horrible during the West indies series often starting slow.
Same with virat and rohit, they all start at 80 strike rates.
Imam only has one issue, he lacks a 4th gear to finish the innings and take that 80 to 100 like others do, but he's far more consistent then them.
He genuinely plays faster then falhar till the 25th and then falhar or babar accelerate faster.
You have no clue what you're talking about lol.
Why is everyone critiquing imam? The guy who won man of the series against afghanistan, Has an average of 55 and a strike rate of 86 since the last 2 years which is single handedly better then any Opener in world cricket with the exception of Gill who regressed since the WI series.
Makes zero sense.
They did beat NZ, no?i have said all along it is always our bowling which has saved us. I mean how do we get to so called world no 1 team without ever beating England..Australia...South Africa..Newzealand and even India is beyond me.
Imam speciality44 dot balls in 10 overs
Why would I leave the forumn over something so trivialI've been here long enough to see how this ends. Ours has been fine I think.Fielding has been so poor from all sides in Asia Cup.
Pakistani fans want Bradman and Viv Richards only in the teamWhy would I leave the forumn over something so trivial. Yall such drama queens ong.
It's cricket. It ain't that serious, I'm stating facts. If you have hatred for imam then so be it lol.
And I don't get the whole medicority thing, no 1 in the world compared to our dark misbah days isn't medicore.
Like what do you even want from the team fam? To go back to the misbah ages? I legit don't get your viewpoint about medicority at all.![]()
Imam is a Misbah product. If you knew that from the beginning you'd understand but at least you can acknowledge that we experienced dark days indeed during the Misbah era.Why would I leave the forumn over something so trivial. Yall such drama queens ong.

Apologies did they in a one day series must have been home you are right. They did beat NZ, no?
It's his lucky day survived 2 close lbwsImam speciality
The misbah product involves ahmed shezad either getting out or scoring his precious 50 of 88 balls.Imam is a Misbah product. If you knew that from the beginning you'd understand but at least you can acknowledge that we experienced dark days indeed during the Misbah era.
true it is too late now to change anyways but such a risk as he is a walking wicketBabar will continue playing an out of form Fakhar. He did the same with Hasan Ali in t20 WC in UAE.
He just doesn't like to create backups in the side, completely unaccounting for loss of form or injury to any player.
Rizwan should open and Saud should play at 4.Babar will continue playing an out of form Fakhar. He did the same with Hasan Ali in t20 WC in UAE.
He just doesn't like to create backups in the side, completely unaccounting for loss of form or injury to any player.
T20s fans.Every person here is either way too judgmental, or just doesn't understand odi altogether. You all should relax and watch the sport honestly. Trust in your team rather then bashing them non stop.
What a misbah product, Imam making 36 of 40 balls amd striking St 90+.Imam is a Misbah product. If you knew that from the beginning you'd understand but at least you can acknowledge that we experienced dark days indeed during the Misbah era.
Everyone wants a 400+ chase.T20s fans.
Rizwan time.Oh no King out
Sense what? Ball keeping low?could sense it
Ya I agree with thatBabar will continue playing an out of form Fakhar. He did the same with Hasan Ali in t20 WC in UAE.

LOLLLL. Fakhar played 31 balls in 9 overs today and had a SR of 64. But still Imam is the issue. I mean kuch bhi. HahahaImam speciality
Just smashed Hasan for a six!Rizwan feasts on these kind of cr@p bowlers
100% expectedLol that was unexpected by rizwan
Agha is decent player but no.5 is high for him. Should be Saud in the middleneed saud in the middle.. middle order looks weak and undependable
Nope....missing leg!Imam's luck runs out.
Yeh but it's not like he was dropped multiple times...two lbws pitched outside and one missing leg so technically was never outImam's luck still staysHe is one lucky batsman.
