Pakistan (274) overwhelm Bangladesh (114) by 128 runs via DLS in second ODI to level series 1-1

Just, woke up! Excellent start by Pakistan.

LoL at Those who were moaning about the wickets before the series. I kept telling you all, it’s changed, got better now. Recent t20 cup both teams scored over 200 runs.

Anyways its good that bcb making good batting wickets as ODI cwc will be on good pitched next year.
 
I wish Shamyl also get some runs under hus belt. It's ok even if they dropped for next series to work on weaknesses and comeback stronger, but it is always good to have performance under the belt to keep confidence high

Yes international cricket is different level. Good teams will find his weak areas and then trap him.

However, he has some good performances also like vs India A

That's why we are all waiting to see him in next year wc, that tournament got more publicity from Pakistani Administration than even the WC ..

Glad he won't be a wild card entry and teams will have time to study him
 
This is disgraceful.. Bangladesh are destroying the cricket by preparing these kinda pitches..82 runs in powerplay ..put a bowling machine there. I like balance 250-260 scores ODI pitches

They have better fast bowlers then us. Maaz has a long way to go but he's showing he can bat. He needs to get tighter in his technique. At least he's not moving as much as he was moving against the England lions.
 
Farhan showing his limitations in odis which he gets away with in t20s. He needs to play like a t20. No point playing like this.
 
Pak players need to learn about building big scores. This was a 150 for the taking for Maaz but he has squandered the opportunity to a nothing shot.

Since 1998 After evil BCCICC control ,Bangladesh pitches have become batting paradises.
 
An innings like that throws your name in the hat with goreh coaches.

Fakhar and Saim need to step up.

He is a very good player, let's not put him under pressure just because he happens to be Talat Hussain's kid.

Shahzaib and Shamyl should be our future, if they keep the right attitude for the game.

I don,t see any future in Pakistan cricket , it ia done and dusted but I support youngsters for their own careers.
 
i am not impressed with this i as ithought been very lucky so far and no doubt collapse could be on teh cards. Balance is no where near right not one spinner in team when you play in Bangladesh

Let him build to it step by step, if he would've gotten a 150 his head would've swollen to the size of a watermelon and would've been hyped to the moon (even more so than now) and then brought down mercilessly once he couldn't replicate that in every match. Just let it occur organically. He did his part for today.

Maaz has great attitude but he needs to learn. The problem is who is going to teach him the art of batting. Pak also shouldn't ignore Fakhar in ODIs. The world cup is in RSA and he has in the past batted well over there.

Now that they have given him a chance, they should give him a proper run & not go back to typecast in panic mode.

The top 6 for the near future should be

Maaz
Farhan (not convinced by him yet)
Saim (he is decent in ODIs & last tour to RSA was very impressive)
Riz
Fakhar (don't know what his best position is)
Agha

The fact that Saim, Maaz, & Agha can bowl a bit will help as well. The problem starts at 7, it's unclear yet.

Not that I disagree about the attitude part but opportunities like this don't come everyday. It is also an issue with our team that our batters get complacent instead of scoring big runs.

That middle-order and bowling attack is so garbage, I'm sure we will face an even worse fate than the T20 World Cup.
 
This pitch looks green ..great pitch for pacers but pakistan,s counter attack against Bangladesh have put their bowlers under pressure. I was expecting another easy win for BD but Pakistan batters have different idea. So refreshing to see young faces in pakistan side thats how to built bench strength and gives exposures to youngsters. Its so tiring to watch Babar and Saim .. pakistan are still a bowler short..Abrar should have played

That's the problem he has good raw ingredients but the coaching which is required to get him to another level will be missing for him, unless he plays county.

Fakhar should open in the WC. I wouldn't have maaz opening. Rizwan shouldn't bat above 6. He plays slow and is a limited batter. I don't see much future for Farhan in odis specially the way he's batting. Hopefully we can groom Sameer and Shamyl.

From 7 onwards has always been a problem and we have decided to play possibly one of the worst player for that position in Abdul Samad. A poor batsmen who also can't bowl.

What a logic of not supporting a youngsters because u don't like his dad. Atleast back your youngsters . Just after 1 match you all have decided to criticize the youngsters.

very poor technique and both these killing the momentum.. they are forgetting they have pretty deep battin and one less bowler so need a very good score in my opinion. Bangla openers finished the match off in 12 overs last time and bat very deep too
