Pakistan and India confirm ceasefire ‘with immediate effect’

Any sensible terrorist would've run for cover from the border areas over the last couple days. India were never gonna try and actually enter Pak airspace. So wonder who was actually hit in those strikes.

Has the IPL been put on hold yet?

I never posted INdia today source... it was Reuters actually... India today also reported the same... many pictures and videos are out there showing the same thing so there must me some reality to it.

Now show me the pictures of terrorists India killed last night... How difficult is it??

Also give the proofs of Pahalgam incident that Pakistanis involved and let's start open investigation. What is stopping modi to do it??? why is he running ??

War is never gonna be solution to anything... India can claim they killed 100 terrorist but they presented any proofs...

Never said 80 terrorists were killed. I said India today was reporting it. The fake medua viral stories from both sides will be toight to filter out the next few days with no fact checking. News media will post whatever they want.

The false news will spread like crazy the next few days.

Trump says escalation ‘a shame’, Guterres urges restraint

US President Donald Trump has said said the escalation between India and Pakistan was a “shame”.

He was the first world leader to react to the tense situation after India carried out strikes inside Pakistan which also retaliated and reportedly shot down Indian jets.

“It’s a shame. We just heard about it as we were walking in the doors of the Oval [Office],” he said inside the White House after overseeing the swearing-in ceremony for his special envoy, Steve Witkoff.

“I guess people knew something was going to happen based on a little bit of the past. They’ve been fighting for a long time,” the US president added.

“I hope it ends very quickly.”

In a statement, UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called for restraint from both countries, Associated Press reported.

“The Secretary-General is very concerned about the Indian military operations across the Line of Control and international border. He calls for maximum military restraint from both countries. The world cannot afford a military confrontation between India and Pakistan,” said the statement.

The US State Department also said it is “closely monitoring developments,” CNN reported.

“We are aware of the reports, however we have no assessment to offer at this time,” the spokesperson said. “This remains an evolving situation,and we are closely monitoring developments.”

One can be quite certain the Indian government won’t admit the jets crashed, nor will they concede they were dropped by the PAF. That admission invites questions they can’t afford to answer.

Instead, the government will walk a tightrope, avoid escalation, protect its cities, and quietly shift the blame onto its own military. Meanwhile, Modi gets to save face by playing both victim and spectator, strategically silent.
 
So far it seems that the downing of planes(if true) is what Pakistan will settle for as a befitting reply.

The Hindu is a socialist newspaper along the lines of The Wire , they will never backdown from putting right wing esp BJP down, but the source was shady just generic pics without verification and she got ahead of herself.

Even Reuters said 3 jets but this lady went ahead and said 3 Indian jets, The Hindu will put up the post again after verification.

Air strikes also destroyed marteje subhan alla masjid in Bahawalpur which was den of Masood Azhar

Chalo looks like Pak will not retaliate obviously because they know what will happen. So they have left it to the keyboard warriors.
 
Even Aaj Tak reporting 80-90 terrorists are killed which is good news.

One thing I will say to Pak posters who are spreading fake news, in a war... planes will get destroyed. That is nothing to celebrate. Indias main target is to attack those terrorist hideouts and kill them. As long as they are successful in it, this attack will be considered successful even if some Indian planes are drowned

If you want to target Terrorists then perhaps Delhi BJP Parliament and RSS sites will be a good start considering they got a few dozen innocent people killed in IOK recently? I mean having a Terorrist butcher of 3000 innocent Gujrat civilians is a good enough reason, but sucks you made him your PM so spare us your Hindutva Terrorists rounds here. Knowing your Indian airforce capabilities, don't think they could even do a job inside India properly, they go down quicker than a pifpaf on a mosquito

Also, my respect has gone up for people like Zubair (Zoo_Bear) who is debunking all fake news. I was expecting him to side with Pakistan but a rare lapse in judgement by Rajdeep.

Nah....RaGa has been good in this time as well. He was present in PM house discussing what to do next after this terrorost attack. I cant see him as PM but have nothing against him as a person.
 
I am also patriotic Pakistani but let's be honest here. Pakistan cannot win against or match india in a conventional war especially if the war drags on for a long time.

There is nothing embarrassing about admitting that since india's population is 7 times larger, economy 10 times larger, army is 3 or 4 times larger than Pakistan. India's large land mass also ensures they have strategic depth. At best Pakistan can defend it's territory because you do need some numerical advantage in order to conquer substantial enemy territory.

But that is where pakistan's nuclear weapons come into equation. It is the nuclear deterrence that ensures our safety

let me have my moment, then I will crap on them too especially the government .

If the millitary can’t respond adequately then no point them having a massive budget in the first place. Otherwise I am not fond of them as their budget and power has taken the country back politically and economically.

That’s for another day though. Today with the millitary 🇵🇰
