Any win is a good win. Sad to see some self-hating Pakistanis playing down this win just because it is not in a "popular" sport. Had we lost these same Pakistanis would be crying dooms day.

Not the same table. The table size, balls, colors, rules everything is different.
A lot of them downplay Pakistani achievements as flukes and unimportant victories and call everyone who question their motives delusional.

Congrats Pakistan. I think this is an amateur tournament. At the professional level I guess teams like England, Scotland, China dominate. Top snooker player names I hear are mostly from UK, like Ronnie O'Sullivan, Hendry, Higgins, Steve Davis. Hope snooker experts on PP (if any) can educate some of us noobs about the sport.
Traditionally is has been the same table as Snooker. Today after Pool became popular can be played on that type of table as well.
Snooker is a really good game. Unlike others it requires intelligence...it is about out thinking your opponent. It is simply about potting balls in a hole taking a colour with every red until only the colours remain then they are potted in a particular order. There are rules like fouls and misses as well, one opponent can "snooker" the other by making things as difficult for him as possible when a pot is unavailable. Joe Davis is supposedly the first great player however Stephen Hendry is regarded as the best ever. Ireland's Alex Higgins was the most notorious and famous amongst working class people for his controversial behaviour like always being in trouble with the authorities during his career, hooligans loved him!!
Steve Davis was very boring where as Ronnie and Jimmy White the most entertaining players off all time together with Higgins.

Not necessarily same table.
Same look of the table with six pockets. Snooker can also be played on a Pool table although it looks weird.
