Pakistan bowled out for 154 in the first innings, trailing by 9 runs at stumps on Day 1 of the second Test against the West Indies

Indian new fast bowlers like Rana, Deep, Krishna are much better than Kashif.
Got tired in 3rd over and pace dropped and replaced, his job is done in this test, now spinners will take over.

His pace was 130 from ball one.
I am not sure about Indian Bowler skill levels, but yeah his skill level was average. One dimensional
 
Pakistan is too good for windies atm... Noman gets one but reviews... looks out to me...

My understanding is that maybe they are giving a look to more pacers because they are trying to find more test pacers to replace Shaheen.

Kashif never struck me as being ready for internationals but I don't mind this selection.
 
akif javed,musa khan or ali raza could have been tried in thisseries

Athanaze is their only shot.

The only guy who looked like he had an answer to the spin twins.

Akif doesn't have a good FC record. Ali Raza is far too young and literally a few games into his domestic career. No need to rush him and have him burn out early.

No one seems to believe in Musa Khan despite him having a great domestic season. Did great in FC and T20's and yet no PSL selection or Test selection. Can't say I blame the selectors... with his height as a pace bowler, he will need to consistent domination to get a look.

Hard to believe such a low level batter has played 97 tests , but he plays only test when no good batter in WI willing to play test.
 
Till date Athanaze has not performed according to his talent,he needs to score a historic ton today.
 
WI may all out under 70-80 runs.

Sajid and noman to take remaining wickets in this session.

Wow Windies are truly terrible.

The pitch isn't this bad to start playing like a Sunday league team.

Musa was a failure at international level and will be failure again, too short in height to be successful at international level. Only can take wickets of club level cricketers in Pakistan domestic cricket.
 
WI completely falling apart here. Wish the broadcast gave us stats how much it's turning in the first innings compared to the last match. Pitch might be slightly better than the 1st match but hard to say for sure.

I dont think t20 ruined their cricket, it's just the nation lost interest in cricket as a whole.

You went from the likes of gayle to the crap you see now.

Even their pacers are a joke, far cry from their tall lethal pacers of the past.

I think he debuted way too early. Players improve overtime and he just did well in this season

You're assuming they have anyone can hit out against spin in these conditions.

At this rate have to agree Pakistan will likely be batting today and hopefully will have a winning total tomorrow at lunch.

tbh their pacers are still better than ours and of many other test playing nations
 
Ball is turning sharply, but this is horrendous batting by WI.

This is why Pakistan should have played on normal pakistani pitch instead rank Turner.

Westindies is terrible team so pakistan doesn't need the turning tracks against them to win.

Pakistan batsman missed the some batting practice due to pitches .
 
Noman chacha is the best spinner in the World. What a bowling .

Pakistan should select Noman and Sajid fir the champion trophy .

The thing is Pakistan will be using this strategy for the next two years minimum.

So, you can think of it as practice for themselves on a rank turner. This includes learning how to bat on turning pitches, field settings, and even bowling the right lengths.
 
This already looks like a Day-5 pitch. Sharp turn and keeping low at times.

Batsman need luck to survive, but WI are helping Pakistan by playing brainless cricket.

And neither did they have to play Babar, Rizwan, etc. This would have been the perfect series to test more bench strength. Nothing on the line and some of your key players for the CT get rest

But don't you think Pakistan batsman need some runs before the champion trophy to get back in the confidence .
