Every run off Olivier gives me satisfaction. Nothing against the guy but we have given him more wickets than Rabada and Steyn combined. Stop making him look like Ambrose reincarnate

Border probably was never dropped/missed in between his 156 Tests; Asad might touch 100 mark in his career. He has about 6 years left, and at PCB’s rate 35 Tests in 6 years ... touch & go, but possible.

He isn't actually in control. I think he would settle down if he felt comfortable defending but it isn't easy out there, and he is trying to hit himself in and force the fielders out with this.
 
Does Shafiq understand that this close to Tea, just don’t get out!

I agree, and that’s why Shan Masood is playing such a great innings, taking no risks at all!

I guess appointing Azhar as captain by recalling him for ODIs was the worst decisions ever by any cricket board in last two decades. Asad becoming captain after being recalled would be right up there
 
He is looking so easy atm... can't believe we gave him 11 wickets in the first test :facepalm:

And people keep saying he's over the hill. He's just as fast as he's been over the past decade and he's still getting wickets. I think he can get to 500 if he plays 15 more tests.
 
Steyn deserved that. Was persisting in that channel at good pace - 140 clicks. Jeez! Saffers are so dependent on this guy. Irreplaceable!

No point complaining man - game has changed and these days you won’t get 3/4 FC games before 1st Test, just not enough window. I can recall Bradman scoring a thousand FC runs before 1st Test every time he toured England, as they headed for Sydney port in late March and played first Test starting on 2nd Thursday of June.

What can be done is changing own domestic wickets to bring diversity & prepare players for away tours. BCCI is doing that and hence IND is winning in AUS, just the start. Another initiative is to send A teams, but that’s not with 35 years old youngster, pretending to be 29. Shan gone, lost concentration I guess.
 
Masood unlucky, best Asian bat I've seen in lively conditions in a very long time. Didn't try to slog his way out of trouble. Player of the series for both sides imo

There is a huge difference in quality of bowling. Not fairly matched at all.
 
Babar please get a proper score.these are tailor made conditions. Old ball and tired bowlers.
