Yes you know things are worst when Asad the emntal midget get so much appreciation for his fluke fifty.Our standard has gone down and now we have players which i will call illetrate.sorry to say but most of them are ,Forget about their cricketing abilities.

I am not interested in how he got here. I only care about performances in international cricket. Since his debut, he has done okay and has shown decent temperament. He has hardly been the worst player by any stretch.

Asad does have his glaring errors but in foreign conditions he is still a better bet than probably 95% of the line up
 
I had a bukhaar which was slowly going away with Pakistan playing well. its creeping back now!
 
Olivier can do a world of good to us by making sarfarz unfit for the next match...lolz not good but the only way we can get rid of him.

If a player isn’t performing in domestic cricket then how do you expect him to perform at a higher level?

Averages 30 in tests.
 
Now had we played Faheem and Shadab, by now they would be producing some runs and hitting right length...

That would have made this series lot closer. What we have achieved with Imam, Fakhar and Yasir?? - There was always an outside hope of them performing and that too in one department.

Terrible from think tank, another overseas tour lost in following same stupid strategy 👹👹👺

Just T20s. ODIs are more or less the same. Winning against minnows and losing against top sides overseas. But now we are also losing at UAE. Which never happened under Misbah's captaincy.
 
Faf made an absolute blunder by putting PAK in, but getting away with that for the 1st innings. A score of 250 in 1st innings and this game would have been totally different.

Is there any issue in Sarfraz’s back - why he is squeezing like a coil while batting. Seriously might get hurt from a harmless long hop!!!!
 
If think this selfish 88 has convinced someone that Asad Shafiq should stay than they defeinitely don't know about cricket. Another useless performance which can't help the team.

He is a senior his job was to save the team for innings defeat. The way he got out again did'nt look likehe is playing 72nd test thats how garbage he is. A mediocre bowler will find his bat in the air and get an edge even in UAE, this is South Africa.

First innings was the most important they are just delaying the inevitable Proteas win

Asad, Azhar, Imam need to get the hell away from the team if the PCB wants to keep the test team at no. 7 or 6.

Some of the shots that Fakhar has played so far in Test cricket are simply atrocious. Even by the standards of a newbie, it's still atrocious. I'll be honest, I expected great things from him after the CT Final. And that was not the only one, he played good ODI innings even after that. I even advocated on PP for for him to be handed the Test captaincy stripping it off from Sarfaraz.

His temperament in Test cricket so far has reminded me of Yuvraj Singh.
 
Babar really has taken a liking to Steyns bowling lol. Opposite of Hafeez :yk
 
Shafiq has been much better than Azhar since the retirement of Younis and Misbah. However, people are more keen to his back.
 
What a shot!!! Babar is the only back foot player in this line up. Recently, Shan is also pulling well but, none plays though off side better than Babar on back foot. Umar was better though.
 
Yup, Ramezz said something right now that's absolutely spot on. Babar should start batting at #3 because Rameez thinks he is the one who has looked the best batsman in the entire line up. I'll agree here.

I think its fair to say that pathetic AUS team had it coming. Whether its through good performances from our side or poor cricket from them.
 
Perfect situation for Babar Azam to prove his worth, to prove his critics wrong. High pressure, series on the line, up against quality bowling lineup, these are the situations which turn you from good to great. Need a big hundred from you. We know you can do it.

Who should captain the team then? Just 6 months before the World Cup. Stability will be shattered.
 
Sarfraz should retire however this was a poor umpiring decision. When you look at how high it hit him, there has to be some doubt whether that would hit the stumps. This is just trigger happy umpiring.

He might have been slightly unlucky, but he should not be missing that.

Absolutely no comparison. UV was a proper batsman with brilliant shot making ability through off side. He was probably the most dominant player in that Indian batting on front foot along with Sehwag and a fantastic demolisher of spin. His problem was temperamental.

FZ is an absolute slogger - and his balance while playing shot is worse than tail Enders. Temperament (or lack of it) is something associated with batsmen who looses focus after sometimes, like Umar Akmal.... FZ is a hack.

Sarfraz back to usual. 3rd PAK batsman out for 6.
