Pakistan collapse to 190 all out at stumps on Day 2, set South Africa target of 149 to win

Every 30+ batsmen should be kicked out!!!!! 10 years of investment and both guys fail when one 50 from any of them could have won this Test. Styen is bowling his 12th over today, after yesterdays work out - this was probably his last spell of the day.

I agree. And HE HAS NO TECHNIQUE.

LOOKING PRETTY AT THE CREASE IS NOT THE SAME AS HAVING GOOD TECHNIQUE.

Well that settles that. Asad should dropped for Haris next test.

After shan, imam and babar innings. We have to think out of the box,not exactly out of the box but against pakistani norms.

this is what always happen in SENA countries,, Asian teams are in the game for a good bit, but these self inflicted brain farts costs us always,,, So hard to see same thing happen again and again and again

Pathetic shots from our two senior players. just like the NZ series when they need to score runs under pressure they buckled as well.

Nice away shape here for Steyn, much better bowler in the 2nd innings

Babar should try to bat like 1st innings. This pitch isnt very good to bat on. Any ball can have your name written in it.

Imam, Fakhar and Masood negotiated the first 30 overs for Azhar and Asad and these two couldn't even capitalize on that freebie. Don't know when will the management and selectors develop the guts to drop at least one of them?

You're posting the same thing a few times now.

When you know it's not happening then why go on on and on about it. :))

Pakistan have only themselves to blame for once again throwing a game away that they should have been bossing.

Totally, firstly we let SA off the hook from 40 odd for 4 to 220 as we have seen multiple times under Sarfaraz and now two seniors scoring aggregate of 6 runs in 23 balls.

Shafiq has been non performing for almost 2 years now, its high time to replace him with Saud, Saad etc

MMHS you mean they already have another specialist captain ready in the wings,,, God forbid us,,,

The problem is Azhar and Asad will make their one mandatory 70-80+ score in the series and that will be good enough for the management.

Its not all doom and gloom here guys. InshaAlla we will back ourselves to defend any total set.

The tail is due some runs also

We have won 3 sessions, before start of series someone said we should celebrate if we win even 1 session :sarf2

Whatever the result is, young guys have competed much better than expectations

Is this really out of box thing? It's a game of extreme reflex & sharp eye sight, more so in SENA countries. A batman probably is at his peak around biological 29 and 3 years either side - check most batting great's career. After that, some of the very best can survive for few more years based on supreme technique & experience.

True but it's more difficult to digest this collapse when a winning position was in sight.

That is only due to non performing seniors.

Good thing is we have nice talent coming through and in couple of years if we remain patient we will see the results.

Stay positive bro. We still have a set batsman at the crease and our best batsman batting with him. Our captain is due runs and im sure someone from the tail will stand up and bat also

Who listens here. Some were making Inzi the ebst CS here and sarfarz and /micky the best few minutes back.

They need to realise the youngsters are dealing with pressure better than the battle-weary seniors.

U can tell from shan's body language he's out there to fight it out.
Our seniors are always under pressure. 4th innings or any innings, poor start or good start.

I dont know why asad and azhar have regressed so much after MisYou. May be they have taken their roles as seniors too seriously

170.

Last time Ajmal made 180 really interesting against a far better SAF line up on a better wicket.

It is only day 2 right now I’d say 200+ would be a winning score though, as SA batting isn’t that great.

Remember the 125 Shan scored against Lanka? Pak chased 300 something with YK also scoring a century.

How biased is he! Makes Russel arnold look like a saint.

Really been disappointed by the commentary it has by and large been biased. Only countries I enjoy commentary is Australia and England. Even here the best commie by far has been Mark Nicholls.

99/4 - 22 overs left.

I hope these two are still there at close of play.

Totally and I am more confident about our future. Young generation is more competitive considering they already experience some of these conditions at U19 and A tours and same thing helped India as well, their current team is competing better than Tendu, Laxman, Dravid, Ganguly etc.

I agree. Mark Nicholas has been on another level. Pleasant to listen to.

But our youngsters are losing to Bangladesh youngsters and Indian youngsters no one has heard of... At home.
