If the choice is between Yasir and Shadab, you would still pick Yasir.

Both are pretty rubbish by international standards. Yasir has more variety, but both of them will leak easy runs which relieves any pressure. I was quite surprised to see we went with two legspinners. The coaches must have been hoping one of them would have one of their rare good days.

Naseem is in his 14th over and still bowling late 87+ mph, thats tremendous. If he can keep on evolving his fitness over time I dont see anything stopping him. He has enough skills that even if he keeps in around 85 mph he can have a really successful career as said quite a few times before.

We are not up to par....but dreadful is a very strong word. Frankly we lost in australia 3-0 which could have been 2-1. We have to remember we humiliated aus in dubai. they had to return the favour. we have done much worse with much better batting line up ...

I agree. Thing with Yasir is that he isnt a big spinner unless there is some spin and he doesnt have a googly, his strength has been his accuracy throughout his career and when you dont see that you loose bit of hope.

You should always back a specialist leggi to perform, unless it’s an absolute road. You should double back a leggi taking ~6 wickets/Test and a 5for n every 3.5 innings. You should triple back the guy if it’s against England.

And you should quadruple it, if he is bowling against Poms on a dry, bouncy track with his batsmen putting a significant total on 1st innings.
