Pakistan lose three quick wickets before stumps after taking 280-run first innings lead

After 25 years of coaching & management, Arthur is learning a lesson here which must be tasting bitter than sweeter.

As soon as Marsh got out, felt there was a chance to apply pressure, but didn't think they would fold that quickly! Again, really can't emphasize how much they must be missing Steve Smith!

Oh dear ..that's just poor batting. Pitch is turning but its just throwing of wickets

Welcome MR Bilal Asif to our ODI team :D

Always hyper reaction - Aussies are finger spin bunny, specially Offies and these Aussies are the worst against spin in my memory, then they are playing on a tailor made track with 482 on board. Had Ul Haq picked Gohar or Raza as well, by now PAK would have been warming to bat for 2nd time.

We all know the threat Yasir brings, but I am actually looking forward to seeing Bilal bowl tomorrow too.

Called it!

But...but... his career average is too high :)))

Much better captaincy from Sarfaraz this session, both tactics and field placements.

The squeeze by the fast bowlers followed by the spin twins.

Agreed but I'm telling this as our selectors point of view. They are no brainer

Amount of turn & bounce that Bilal is getting, it won't be a bad idea to go round the wicket against right handers & bring LBW in equation. He will hardly get LBW calls in his favor, bowling from over the wicket.

Why Sarfraz change ends of Bilal with Yasir?

Probably he wants Yasir to bowl in to the end Wahab was bowling. With 2 right handers & Bilal bowling over the wicket, that foot mark wasn't coming in to play much. But, Yasir bowled the 1st ball to Paine a short one outsode off to let his Captain down.

This is where australia made a huge mistake in not picking renshaw who would have provided stability andprevented a collapse. Also, the expereince of handscomb and maxwell in asian coonditions would have been very useful. head and labuschagne over the former two proved to be very stupid selections.

It is clear none of head or labuschagne deserved to be picked over handscomb+maxwell. Picking 2 rookies as your middle meant over proven players of spin bowling meant a collapse like this was inevitable

Yes poor selection definitely.

AUS was, is and will be clueless in spinning conditions #fact

Good comeback from PAK after big opening stand from AUS :salute

Bilal should have bowled a lot more earlier.

I would try to fit another spinner in the next game. Australia don't look comfortable against spin at all.

What a comeback by Pakistan. How crap and disgusting players of spin Aussies are! Aussies lack basic skills of playing spin. Shame shame. They mock at Asians. But they should mock at themselves now.

Modern day Australian batsmen apart from Smith and Warner really struggle against offies and seamers who force them to play on the front. Really really poor stuff.

You don't need pace to succeed in test cricket. You need discipline. Perfect example Abbas

Begs the question that do you even need 2 pacers against non-Asian sides in the sub-continent? 1 Fast Bowler and 3 genuine spinners are more than enough. Pakistan should look to play another spinner in the next match and drop Wahab.

If I remember correctly. Bilal did get 5'fer in ODI debut too. Then disappeared

The ball had hit thigh pad of Siddle and deviated at the last second, which is why Sarfi failed to pick it up
