Just having a look at some past series and noticed Pakistan and Oz played 9 one dayers in the space of 6 weeks or so all around australia with Pakistan taking it 5 to 4 , and at one point winning 4 games in a row! our 90s ODI side was truly a good one.

Wasim, Waqar, Shoaib all were in revenge mode of 99 WC final. Shoaib was in its prime. He took a 5-fer on WACA I think, out-pacing Aussie top-order with accurate pace bowling.

The lost the test series though #Langer #Haydos

Well, that match was played on The Gabba and Shoaib didn't get a 5-fer in it. He did get a 5-fer on The Gabba in 2002 though. And in that 'revenge mode' series we won just one out of six matches against Australia. We did beat India in 3 out of 4 matches though. The series we won down under was 96/97. Where Akram, Saqlain, Waqar, Zahid and Afridi were on fire. We won 3 out of 4 matches agains Aus then. And infact Australia didnt even make it to the finals that year.

I thought you were talking about this series, and yes it was Brisbane.
