It could potentially be co hosted with Sri Lanka, with Group A matches in Pakistan and Group B matches in Sri Lanka with India and Sri Lanka in Group B.

The Super Six round can also be seeded so if those 3 teams qualify, they can play their Super Six match in their respective countries.

PCB need to start lobbying for it now.

2035 will be in UK or Aus .wi may not be preferred after disastrous 2 wcs and time zone issues.More over 27 wc will give a rough idea whether odi wc outside sub continent can survive/profitable.

2031 is happening in India, Bangladesh.. next world cup wont be in same region bhai..
Thank you!

Pakistan should bid for 2032 or 2033 World T20 with UAE or Bangladesh as co- host to avoid the hybrid model

:kp

Will Pakistan cricket survive till 2035? 5-6 years down the line I don't see them qualifying for any ICC tournaments directly.

If India can host in 2023 and 2031, why can't Asia host back to back World Cups? Can anyone point to anywhere officially where the ICC has stated that a region cannot host World Cup's consecutively?

We would love to see another ICC tournament in Pakistan after the magnificent manner in which you have hosted this one.

Hopefully ODIs are history by then.
Yeah, it's quite likely. The Final was the only one where I watched every ball. Even the SF or Pak game I skipped bits, usually the middle overs. Smith and Labu - seriously, who is ever going to watch them together in the middle overs.

It's weird because if I'm doing nothing (which is most of the time :jimmy ), I can sit through an entire day of test cricket between two good teams. But not a 50 over game unless it is really significant.

It wasn't this way for me, say a decade back. So I assume this must be common for a lot of fans.

I don't think ODI is going anywhere. It has a deep legacy. :inti

Even to this day, ODI WC is the most prestigious cricket event.
That is true right now but you never know in 10 years time.

I personally rate an ODI WC over a T20 WC, but that could just be nostalgia and habit. What could happen though is bilaterals become non-existent and we only have 50 over WCs following the last one's format. Everyone plays everyone. That way, we have a long tournament. Teams get the practice they lost from not playing bilaterals and it builds up towards the end of the tournament with the best teams smoothening out their strategies and game.

Yes. 2031 WC is scheduled to be in India and Bangladesh.

I think it should be upgraded to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. 5 hosts.
For once I agree with you.

India is not short of money. This helps the game grow in declining nations like Srilanka and Pakistan.

Particularly, it will be a good opportunity for Nepal. They can make the tournament bit long too if possible.

It will be a celebration of Cricket game. I don't know how relations between India and Pakistan will improve but hopefully it does.

Sadly, BD has also become more extremist with the new regime.

Karlo bid... Pakistan is such a preferred destination that ICC will bend an acceptable norm for it :snack:

Afghanistan Maldives and Bhutan bhi add kardo
Revive the defunct SAARC 👏

You never cried when Bangladesh gets to host so many tournaments in just 2-3 mediocre stadiums on its own.
Bangladesh is failed case, we can consider Nepal as a good replacement for Bangla

Pakistan should aim for T20 WC hosting, joint venture with Dubai or Bangladesh, that's the realistic target

Joint venture with Dubai is not practical because Dubai and Pakistan are pretty far from each other.

Better to do it with Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. Travel time is less.

Flight time from Lahore to Dhaka is 2 hours 41 minutes.

A non-stop flight from Lahore to Colombo typically takes around 3 hours and 55 minutes.

Flight time from pakistan to Dubai is 1 hour 40 minutes

I know you're Clown but atleast checked the time travelling instead talking nonsense as usual 🤡

Pakistan can certainly bid but it's unlikely to net a positive result.

We can't compare Pakistan (or any other host nation) to India when it comes to these bids. ICC would love to host every World Cup in India if it could due to the revenue generation.

My money is on Australia/NZ getting 2035 or them going completely off the board with the West Indies.

I feel they should be aiming for the 2032 or 2034 T20 World Cup instead. It's the right format for Pakistani crowds and they can co-host it with Sri Lanka or Dubai.

They should try to bid in 2031 edition

Pakistan can be added as third co host

After all 2011 CWC was also hosted by 3 countries

So why not in 2031

Lacks cricket knowledge, cricket history and geographical knowledge. Who would have thought a BD fan would be so clueless/s

Travel between Pakistan and Dubai is easier and faster than traveling between BLE-DEL, BLR-Kolkata, Chennai-DEL etc.

On a serious note, WHY and HOW will Pakistan ever get a hosting right after this CT25 Fiasco.

Broadcasters is always going to be Indian. and No Indian broadcaster will like to go through the same uncertainty drama that happened here. No business likes such chaos.

After this schedulign fiasco i very much doubt Pakistan will have opportunity to host a tournament on their own. It will be shared by Paksitan and some other country. Possibly Srilanka. It won't be any time soon. Most of the members here will have grandkids when that happens. You won't have time to post on this forum :)

Always India & Pakistan will be in same group in all ICC tournament

There is no fault of Pakistan in CT25 fiasco. India just want to ruin Pakistan cricket hence they did this drama.

Time will take its revenge. When it will be their turn to host tournament.
However I still feel ICC the bais board will act against Pakistan if they refuse to travel India.

Australia/NZ - 2035

India - 2039

England - 2043

1935 WC will be played among 5 participant teams , India , Australia, England , SA and NZL.

South Africa??
SA is hosting 27 odi WC. I remember bcci had stated that tehy will host every other odi WC a d rotate the rest. So 2027 in SA. 2031 in Ind, 2035 in Aus/nz, 2039 Ind, 2043 England- if odi WC last that long. If it doesn't then bcci will want to do the same schedule for t20 WC.

Whether we like it or not - t20wc will overtake the odi WC in popularity and viewership- it actually has already overtaken. Not sure how long the odi WC can continue to survive.

Makes sense, if BCCI doesnt host ODI world cup regularly, ODI cricket will simply fade away.

For a change its actually good idea. Maybe SL+ BD+ Pakistan + UAE can host together. T
hen make India travel a different country for each match. Keep the SF and final locations a secret till last moment.

Then find a new conspiracy theory when India still wins the cup ;):ROFLMAO:

"Indian players were allowed to sleep in First class flights and luxury. Their flights had 100% Oxygenated air so that they can perform and recover better :nonstop:

That’s subjective.

So, how did ODI survive between 1999-2019 with India having only one ODI world cup to co-hosting? 😂
Yeh koi baat hui.. 🤷‍♂️

Phir bolo how did Cricket even start with India not being independent till 1947?
I dont get it why do some Pakistanis want to get stuck in a time capsule and live in perpetual past tense.
