Only reason boycott makes sense is to hurt BCCICC. But, they can hurt BCCICC without boycotting the whole world cup.

I want Pakistan to hurt BCCI and ICC . I want a strong cricket board to be with BCB. I want autocracy be abolished in ICC.

I want BCCICC to be dismantled too. But, we need to have practical expectations. :inti

I doubt any country would boycott to show solidarity. Even Bangladesh may not do that.

I think SENA boards need to ditch ICC and form a new cricket governing body. All other countries can join them. Unless that happens, I doubt much will change.

I'm not surprised to see RizBar fans wanting Pakistan to boycott this. Deep down they know Babar will get exposed and they are bu*thurt over Rizwan's exclusion.

These fans once again showcase their priorities when it comes to the best interests of individual players vs Pakistan team.

CT 2025 and AC 2023 finals were held outside Pak.

WWC 2025 final and semis were in India as will this T20 WC's.

We should have taken a stand and boycotted the tournament before the scheduling of the matches were done. We can't turn back on our agreement to participate.

I hope PCB has now finally grown a spine and will boycott future tournaments held in India, if they continue to refuse to play in Pakistan.

Yes - but that is in Pakistan's hands; which is what matters.

Pakistan got to dictate where it plays the final. If it does not reach the final, that is Pakistan's doing.

It has already been decided at this meeting that Pakistan will play, but if they announce it now, it will be embarrassing for them after all the false pretenses. So they are buying time to let the situation cool down.

Naqvi’s recent comments about possibly pulling Pakistan out of the T20 World Cup have caused tension at the ICC and with the broadcasters.

When he said that Pakistan’s participation will depend on the government’s decision, it made things complicated for the ICC. There is a lot of money involved, especially because the India vs Pakistan match is one of the biggest and most watched games in cricket.

If Pakistan pulls out, broadcasters will lose a lot of money. No other team can bring the same number of viewers as an India vs Pakistan match. That one game alone makes huge revenue.

I believe Naqvi will do nothing. PCB will do nothing.

They’ve already decided to play, but want some measure of face saving. This is their way of retaining that classics Pakistani staple - izzat, dignity etc.

Pak was never going to boycott. Naqvi just did political stunts for no reason. This Guy is total clown like his Immediate Boss and that is not Shehbaz Sharif

Nothing will happen if Pakistan withdraw from WC... nowadays India-Pakistan matches always one sided no fizz remained... nowdays Ind-Aus, Ind-Eng, Ind-SA, Ind-NZ battles are more entertaining
 
Although We knew Pak will not boycott but Indian Media ran a threat compaign of ICC putting sanctions on Pak 🤣🤣🤣 It was Hilarious to see .. even more Hilarious was that Indians picked it up as some sort of imaginary power BCCI wields over other Boards

the most hilarious one was no bilateral series allowed by ICC. When BCCI did nt tour Pak , ICC made it no secret that it does nt control the Bi laterals 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Can someone explain to me what this delaying tactic and drama will acheieve?

Pak has no issues with the schedule. They got the hybrid model they requested.

Courts work on proof/documents. So boycotting or other drama will result in ICC suing PCB into the Stone Age for breach of contract. Bangladesh at least filed their issue officially and from their pov it’s a genuine issue even if ICC disagrees. PCB has no legit reason except some drama for political optics. With Jay Shah at the helm, even more likely on the sanctions. PCB sold BCB down the river and backed themselves into a corner.That’s the harsh truth.
