Musa Khan to Islamabad United
 
6th team looks strong enough. KK is probably one of the weakest team in the pool
 
Lahore Qalandars squad is shaping up nicely. Not the worst this season for sure
 
Aaron Summers clocks 150km. The only good pick by KK. Why Zalmi selected Misbah :/

Also feel sorry for Zeeshan Malik. I’m going to support all the sides apart from KK. Salman Iqbal has turned the name of my city into a horrible joke. His sense of humour leaves a lot to be desired.
 
Easy for me now, my least favorite team will be Zalmi, can't believe they picked 50 year old who should have retired from any form of cricket 10 years ago, what a joke.

Sooner or later KK management will hang their heads in shame. This draft is disaster. Perhaps at least now LQ wouldn’t finish last in PSL. *** were they thinking when they picked Iftikhar!!!!

Nasir Nawaz selected :yahoo. Well done Islamabad. Someone needs to select Kamran Ghulam and Zeeshan Malik as well.
 
Another season of Ravi Bopara as a key player for Karachi Kings. The most underwhelming and boring side to watch!
 
Hassan Cheema and Rehan Ul Haq should be Pakistan national team selectors. As much as the credit goes to Misbah and Dean Jones for the 2 PSL wins, Hassan and Rehan deserves equal credit if not more. Their selections and their scouting processes have been impeccable.

Again, they have made shrewd picks in Ian Bell and Phil Salt. Bell has been in stunning T20 form in 2018 and Salt is the closer you need with his heavy hitting. ISB United is the most professionally run franchise and I wouldn't bet against them this time too.
 
Lahore Qalandars looking powerful, much stronger than last year!

Their batting looks a bit thin to me.
 
LQ selected a balanced squad every time just to become unbalanced by injuries and player not joining. This year bowling looks weak but maybe condition will suit them
 
Peshawar Zalmi 2019 Squad and Discussion Thread - Possible winners as well?

The team now has a great shot at winning the PSL, now that Misbah's in the team.

Harris Sohail and Hafeez are good picks. Will give them stability.

This is the order I think the teams will stand at the end of the league stage, going into the playoffs.
 
No players picked from Bangladesh. Do they have series during PSL?

No player picked from Afghanistan either.

PCB did not give NOC to players to participate in Afghanistan PL and ACB returned the favor.

I don't think that's thin. Bell has been picked to play the Misbah role and will hold the batting together while the rest bat alongside him. And the rest can tonk the ball a fair bit.

It’s more to do with the quality than the quantity. Last year they had the stability of Duminy at the top and Russell to finish things off. Faheem and Shahdab hardly match that quality. Bell is a good purchase though but they’ll desperately miss Russell.
 
Very excited to see Phil Salt bat. I hope he plays. He made Lockie Ferguson look like a medium pacer in the County Championship. Hit front foot sixes off him. Lockie went for 72 in his 10 overs in a 4 day match. Salt made 148 off 138.
 
Ronchi seems to me the most likely candidate for the captaincy role.
 
I am so disappointed that Sadaf Hussain is not being able to get picked up to showcase his talent. I remember Javaid Afridi PZ owner was informed about him and he told that he was going to help him get selected. Injustice is at its peak.

Apart from Ronchi and Bell, I don’t think any of them are players who you can be relied upon to win you 9/10 games. Asif struggles against quality spin, Delport struggled last year for LQ, Salt hasn’t been tested in PSL so you don’t have enough data to bank on him, Talat is a one dimensional player and Sahibzada also struggled last year. That leaves Ronchi and Bell. While Ronchi is a proven match winner, at least in PSL, Bell had his demons against spin in UAE.

So who'll wicket keep for Lahore Qalandars this season? Have they picked any youngster?
 
It would be very disappointing if players like Zeeshan Malik,Arshad Iqbal and Mohammad Hasnain don't get picked in the draft
 
How big of gap PSL teams have created? Faheem Ashraf had been retained in Platinum category. Meanwhile, Amir Yameen has been picked in Supplementary

Aqiq Javed claiming Haris Rauf will be fastest bowler on show this year.

naa, too much exaggeration bro.


Most of the Picks of Islamabad were misbahs, not cheemas or rehans.

Misbah always wanted Asif ali in the national team aswell for T20.


As for Nasir Nawaz, this pick credit goes to Shadab. Shadab is good friends with Nasir, and i could bet my money that he put his name forward to management.
