Yeh cheez - What you should focus on is the economic uplift of your community that you are reportedly representing. You have ministers in cabinet from minority groups, they should be working hard to get a better deal for their community, you should be holding them to account for it.

While talking about the incident of lahore he told me that circumstances for Christians are more worse in india, he reveals that he has visited almost every part of india where christians are in significant population & find that comparatively there is lot more discrimination, bias & prejudice. In pakistan only central punjab is the region (lahore,faisalabad, gujranwala) where peoples are more bias & the remaining country is much better. He also stated that indians Christians are only ahead in education from pakistani christians specially of kerala & tamil nadu.

Well as you can see, I am in full support of Mr Cheez's campaign to migrate to India. Hopefully India will be able to accommodate another million or so minorities to enable this mass migration. The best medical university (AKU) in Karachi/Pakistan is owned and run by Aga Khani/Ahmedi. One of the best engineering universities (NED) in Karachi/Pakistan is named after a Hindu gentleman.

If you are hoping that 2% of the population starts having 25% of the government representation then I'm sorry that happens no where in world.

btw NED Unv in Karachi was founded by a Parsi not a Hindu.

The point here is, it doesn't matter if a person is rich or poor, no one would want to live as a second class citizen.

In Pakistan everybody is a second class citizen irrespective of what your religion is.

The only people who are first class citizens are the ones in power or those who have money/connections.

Actually I can't contribute to this topic as I am not a Pakistani and any opinion I will have would be based from some reports, etc. So I don't think it will be fair to take a stance on this topic and you guys will know better. the context here is different because unlike majority Pakistanis my interaction with Pakistani minorities (Karachi based) is prolly as much as my interaction with Pakistani muslims. OP knows why so im in a position to really know the issues

Other than that a person from a Muslim middle class family and a non-Muslim middle class family have the same opportunities to succeed and excel.

For example, the CSS exam which is undoubtedly the most prestigious in the country and is the entry-way to government service, does not make a distinction between the people's religion. In-fact the age limit is relaxed by 2 years to 30 for people who are "Buddhists or belong to Scheduled Castes".

So a Major General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is actually a Christian.

A few years ago I saw a report on tv, about the army officer guarding the Monument of Jinnah, and guess what that officer happened to be Sikh. So the person guarding the final resting place of the father of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is actually a Sikh?!?!
