I don't get it what is wrong with the way Misbah is playing.

He is playing second fiddle to Younis. The idea is to build a partnership without getting out.

Misbah minimizes the risk in his batting by playing this way. The onus is on Younis to play spin, and he does that really well.

Younis doesnot get bogged down by slow play because its test match cricket. You don't have time to worry about. You can bat all day if you want as long as you don't get out.

Misbah averages 80 in 4th inning partnerships with Younis..

I don't think both are worried abt anything. They are experienced pros and know how to handle this situation. They have been in this situation a million times before and sort of enjoy it out there together.

haris has yet to prove it in international cricket. in domestic he has looked extremely composed against spin, sarfraz is very good and shafiq is inconsistent.

We need to find another batsman to replace younis and misbah to tackle spin.

It invites a lot of pressure onto the rest of the batsmen. I never said play brainlessly. But rotating at 3-4 an over after you've settled isnt asking too much. Blocking 5 balls an over isnt the right way to play.
