That Tail ender's wicket should save Hafeez from getting kicked out for the rest of the series even if his performances with the bat is mediocre :misbah

Neither do I care about it, nor do I have the time for it.

You can't say to me you don't have at least some bias towards Misbah.

If you say to me that it's only for the people who underrate him severely or attack him for things that he doesn't control, it's not always the case. Many times I'll see a post regarding a Misbah criticism and it will deflect to X or Y player.

Misbah scored a 50 at an SR of 50, but everyone else around him fell, it's their fault, not Misbah's. Giving a surface answer like that in every case becomes a bit tedious.

I don't think Misbah is to blame for Pakistans problems, our lack of talent is, but I just am not a fan of glorifying him unjustly.

This man would not make any team barring West Indies and Bangladesh. Not that the others would make other teams either but he's just an average player who knows the value of a wicket.

He's not a winning player, and if you say 50s and wins, well you'd have to do a deep analysis of that and see in the match context. Our bowling won is matches, not Misbah for the most part. For the last year or so it's been the kids.

I wish we brought him on when he was in his late 20s because he would have been much better than a lot of the awful players we brought on, but in the last year and a half he's been a limited batsmen who makes most runs off odd boundaries and wastes too many deliveries. I understand the concept of wickets falling and not getting out, but consolidation and playing positive cricket to win the match still should be on the cards. It's not that hard to take a single every other ball.

A lot I'll admit has to do with his age though and he is definitely a man of honour so it sucks he has been given the cards he has.

Cool, so you can't find a single post where I've got in a strop over legit criticism of Misbah.

Carry on then.

Don't confuse me with agenda-driven idiots like Savak, WL, Bullet Drive, GreenKnightRises and the rest of the overly vocal minority. If someone unfairly criticises Misbah I will correct them. If someone makes a stupid criticism about Afridi, Junior Akmal, Younus or whoever, I will respond.

I have my personal favourites like everyone else but I'm not going to be stupid about it, I'm not their agent, I don't get paid for their success or failure.

Despite that Hafeez has just picked up a wicket, I am suprised that he has bowled 22 overs while our specialist spinner Yasir has only bowled for 13 (and has taken 2 wickets)

He's not giving runs, adds to the pressure on the batsmen I guess.

Why do we waste reviews like this

We need to get MJ out before he does some serious damage here we could get a 150 lead here which i think would be match winning.

Came to watch Yasir shah after the Warne tweet. Why is he not bowling? Just 2 wickets to go!

You and I both know you have a bias towards Misbah. I don't need to look through thousands of posts to point it out so I guess we'll agree to disagree.

A leg spinner is needed here. they can really take wickets with their turn and will force the mindset of the tail to be changed.

At the moment he's not good enough. One special delivery sandwiched between 10 pies.

oh yar come on baba, MJ comes down, throw a wide one and get him stumped

Babar seems to have got big parchee in PCB first being selected in ODI side and now his lengthy spell

I admitted I have biases like everyone.

I asked you to find one single post where it has got in the way of responding to legitimate criticism. Something which you're failing to do

Tea. Hopefully we see yasir when we come back on although misbah is not amongst risk takers so he will depend on them making mistakes.

In any case the day has been ours and frankly i am kinda worried if our openers have to bat the last ten or 20 overs.

do you even know what that word means?

Yes.

Lunch.

Noob question. Do they really have tea in tea breaks and lunch in lunch breaks?
I know Ramiz Raja has polio drops, what about the rest?

Warner has really played well looking at the other aussie batsmen. Need to take out the tail asap

They eat lunch in the lunch break.

They may drink tea in the tea break but most wouldn't.

Yes. He has been like a poor version of Imran Tahir so far.

You need to watch imran tahir vs Australia again. Then you will learn the meaning of the word "pies" . Yasir has been pretty good, considering its his debut, hardly any full tosses or wide balls.

Imran Tahir vs Australia was one of the worst displays of bowling at Test level in history, but I am not focusing on that match only.

Overall so far, Yasir is like Tahir - less variations and capable of producing a magical delivery but bowls too many crap ones.
