Clarke is so underrated here it is sick.
Yep. They guy was carrying the AUS batting till the Warner's and Smith's started taking some responsibility.

Clarke is so underrated here it is sick.
Underrated with an average of 62 at home and 43 away? Doesn't even average 50+ anywhere outside Australia.
But then he has 4 tests coming up against us, will become a Bradman once again![]()
Amla and Pujara above Clarke). Yeah ok Aman. Not to mention Taylor and Williamson eh?

Fair assessment, both Pujara and Amla have better numbers in the SC than Clarke.
What's the follow on for this match?
In that case, you can have KP and Cook ahead of Clarke. Pujara also played on those same tracks.Rank turners with batsmen getting out all around you and you average 48 with the bat is pretty impressive. Amla scored on a placid 1st innings UAE wicket where Ajmal found no turn at all. Context Aman.
When will the game resume?
Here's Bangladesh for good measure

farfetched but if we tale them all out today and bat tomorrow all day then we have a good chance of winning this.
Underrated because the emphasis has been on his relatively poor performances abroad. He hasn't been terrible abroad either. Has had good tons in SA,India etc. He's not an ATG and no one is claiming he is either but AB,Sanga and Clarke are the best test bats out there currently.
Chances of rain?
The only reason I brought Clarke's career stats is because he's played sparsely in the SC.Sorry but those stats are quite meaningless. Hashim Amla averages 24 in Pakistan, 36 in Bangladesh, 38 in SL, 102 in India and 78 in UAE and 20 in WI. You cant establish whether a player has done well against spin by just throwing out stats in different countries.
Chances of rain?
Clarke is past his peak IMO. Warner is the one ramping up.
So did he ever get near Ponting?Clarke is past his peak IMO. Warner is the one ramping up.
Mate the wicket Clarke just batted on was flat as wellSorry but those stats are quite meaningless. Hashim Amla averages 24 in Pakistan, 36 in Bangladesh, 38 in SL, 102 in India and 78 in UAE and 20 in WI. You cant establish whether a player has done well against spin by just throwing out stats in different countries. Eg. Amla never played on a turning pitch in the UAE. 2010 series was on flat roads. and the 1st innings of the 2013 series was flat as well.
Well we have very little chance of winning, I'd much rather be in Pakistan's situation at this point in the game.
Mate the wicket Clarke just batted on was flat as well
Quality of the bowlers is a far cry from the ones Amla faced then too.
Pakistan to win this match now and quite easily.
I'd be surprised if he ever takes a wicketImran khan to bowl., you got a legends name so take a wicket here.
LOLZZZ at the easy part. good one. Hello pakistan here who couldnt chase 4 runs in 6 balls in the last ODI match. I am not feeling safe till we are ripping the stumps in celebrations.![]()
you wont be batting last.Australia will be and on a 5th day pitch they wont score more than 150
I'd be surprised if he ever takes a wicket![]()
