Wait, hold on. Why are they continuing the game? Guess we're having a friendly knockaround afterwards to give the spectators value for money after Australia's abject display this morning.
 
yeahhh....we have a 3 runs lead....i think we should get to 150 quickly, then declare and let then in with 3 overs left for the day
 
Farhat is aproaching 30 and has started fishing outside off, not good sign at all.
 
Last time I felt this good was when we had a sizable lead against Australia in the Sydney Test. I hope so much that we don't self destruct now as it is more painful than when we get thrashed from session 1.

The way Farhat plays it looks like he treats 30 as being the equivalent of 100.

He edges around when in the 20s (Farhat equivalent of the 90s) and hits out after getting beyond the big three-zero.

Playing well though. Come on kiddo!

Azhar Ali takes his hands off the bat for quite a few of his shots. Wonder why it is. Odd but it looks like it works as none of his edges have been in the air.
 
ponting spitting his palms 2 times before each delivery is bowled....I think by the time pakistan lead reaches over 100, they would need to run super soppers to wipe all the spit from the outfield
 
Azhar ali is playing a good watch full innings so far.. he knows where his off stump is ..

hopefully he score big in this inning..
 
Like Azhar doesn't know that he has to rotate the strike. Rameez Raja is a really stupid commentator.
 
Azhar Ali just doesn't look like a potent number 3 to be honest, more power to him if he comes out of his shell and gets a hundred, but if they are not going to bring back Younus.... then i really cannot understand why Umar Akmal is not in this position, with Azhar at 5. Umar Akmal is now relatively experienced, he should not be behaving or being used like an Inzamam or Yousuf, get him up there against the new ball, he has the talent.

Mashallah, thanks to ALLAH for such a brilliant performance by PAK. i hope they go on and win this match from here. a 200 lead would be great and hope azar gets a 100 today along with amin. im pissed to see farhat again playing. why are they not playing yasir hameed. awsome bowling by our grt bowlers n good captaincy by but saab. hope we create history.

number 3 should be a moderate player not an aggressive player like umar akmal
 
I think we will end up somewhere around 250. That gives us a lead of around 140 runs. I could see us successfully chasing 240 runs in the last innings.

Do you guys agree?

he has so far restricted the scoring .. even when butt was out there....

says who?

Are Ponting, Sangakarra and Kallis moderate players? Dravid is a bit more temperamental but he has a solid defense, they are all extremely talented which Azhar Ali is not, he has a good temeperament but unlike Dravid a passable defense.

Umar Akmal should be at 3 imo.
