I like Maqsood, hope he scores some runs, a lot of pressure on him though

What?!?!

Are you even allowed to do that?

That is a ridiculous call.

YOU ARE NOT!!! What the HELL are people talking about!!!

ONCE the ball is released, until it REACHES THE BATSMAN, you CANNOT move!!! (Only wicketkeeper is allowed as an exception, since if slower ball, they can move UP to stop it).

THAT IS BS SECOND RATE UMPIRING!!! COMPLETELY UNFAIR

Hmm, according to the rules shouldn't have been given out

That was not out according the rule how the hell it is given out ???

Lol The commies just read the law and its ballant the Umpires got it horribly wrong :( Posters really have no idea what law 14 states and just keep babbling without any prior knowledge

The commie just said "Any movement before the ball reaches the striker, is unfair"!!

How the hell you move significantly ?? if not like this rubbish umpiring.

Fawad should have stood his ground. What the hell are the point of rules if you're not going to follow them

That was not out, he moved before ball reached batsman, he moved from first slip to leg, when ball hit fawad' bat, he was crossing Haddin..
Why umpires did it use replay??

It's another case of pressure from bigger teams getting the the benefit of doubt.

This is fooling the batsman. Batsman plays a shot for one field, but fielders move before the ball is hit, ridiculous

It was not out for sure, but Australia have him worked out from head to toe. You gotta admire the setup albeit it was illegal.

Fawad unlucky. Bad decision by the umpires. Steve smith doing something against the rules

Any team that does it's homework on him will expose him because he's extremely predictable and one dimensional.

so australia, south africa both didn't do their homework the first time...brilliant revelations here by Mamoon

He has had a bad series. Move on. What replacements you got anyways...if you can give Umar Amin a million chances Fawad deserves every chance he gets...2 or 3 failures after a series of good scores isn't a big deal

but i don't expect fans like yourself to grow up...

Umpires dont have the balls because they know the Aussies would get in their face and start barking at them

Agreed, completely and utterly shambolic decision.

Shafiq can;t play the short ball. Wont last long against teams with genuine pacers like South Africa and india.

What the law says for Fawad's dismissal: Any significant
movement by any fielder after the ball comes into play, and
before the ball reaches the striker, is unfair. In the event of such
unfair movement, either umpire shall call and signal Dead ball.
Note also the provisions of Law 42.4 (Deliberate attempt to
distract striker).

Aussies at it again? Why am I not surprised......

Anyway, the umpires are there for a reason. If they themselves don't know the rules what to say

Lol India apart from Shami the rest of your ODI pacers are mediocre

Australia doesn't even need to cheat to beat us. So pathetic

I think the umpires did a good favour to Pakistan by wrongly giving Fawal Alam out.

I guess the batsman currently in the middle will be able to score runs at a good rate unlike Fawad who is usually a slow starter and would not help Pakistan's cause.

Anyways, Pakistan are not in a bad position at all.

South Africa? You mean when he failed to finish two back to back games with his weak shots and cost us the series?

Umps too scared to rule against the Aussies. If that was Fawad who did that to Smith it would have been overturned.

That is true.

And because they don't need to, then... they shouldn't. Except they did.
Smith should have held his horses. Fawad should have held his ground.

This is getting old. Now India has genuine pacers. Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron, Ishant and Even Shami can easily cross 140 and the first three can hit 150 on regular basis. Do you deny this?
:))) @regular basis

I do, but you cannot change the fact that it was a trap.

a trap that could be termed as ballant cheating. I would rate such acts parallel to ball tampering and if this is something we can slide under the carpet then surely chucking or bowlers going beyond 15 degrees, in the name of innovation, can also be deemed legal and complete genius - don't you think ??

1) 2009-10 tour to Australia: in 5 match ODI series he played only 3 matches and had highest average amongst Pakistanis. His best innings in that tour was 63 (70) at perth in a low scoring game. http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/406206.html

2) 2010 tour of England: he scored 153 runs @ avg of 38 with best of 64

3) He scored 48 and 59* against S.A in UAE in 2010.

Yepp all these figured him out.

His last few scores...

74 (70), 114*(134), 62(61), 30 (40), 38*(73), 7(25). and today

Sorry he doesn't turn you on like sloggers aka Afridi do

You need to be good to pull of cheating, yes. Not every chucker can be as good as Ajmal so you have to give the due credit.

Yadav isnt in the team and also is a spraygun. Varun is a bit better but also prone to getting a phainta. Ishant is a joke in ODIS. Shami is a good wicketaker. but also is expensive. Shami is the only proven one you have named there

Fawad's nughes are not going to work against good fielding sides (AUSES, SA, NZ), plus he does not play fast bowling well, even in UAE, that's disappointing... He like Misbah has good temperament but technique and strokes are too limited, not sure how much value that is to team [emoji19][emoji19]

Shami is not a regular 140+ bowler. Yadav is the only one. Aaron is not even a regular player in the starting XI.

Who is this dulcet Pakistani commentator?

Actually Yadav is in the team and will be handy in AUS/NZ. Even in his last tour there, he was quite quck but was spraying it all around. Ishant is rubbish. Shami isn't that pacy but his ODI stats are really good for an Indian bowler.
