Pakistan into the SF where we will face South Africa.

Fantastic bowling performance today but our top order remains to be a worry. Still....good to see Ahmed Shehzad and Ali Asad get some vital time in the middle. The World Cup is all about peaking at the right time and if our batsman peak now in the next two games, then we will win this tournament for sure.

Great stuff Pakistan!

Ali Asad once again smashes the Aussies like he did last time in the semis! This kid seems to be a pretty decent player under pressure. Nice and compact, would like to see him break teh ranks in domestic and the A team.

Congratulations guys!!!

It was so easy in the end but anything could have happened once we were restricted to 32-3. Ali Asad was awesome, played some very nice pull shots and is equally good on the off side as well.

What happened to Nathan Hauritz? I know he is no leggie but he did play one test on a turner in Mumbai.

I still think Aussies should persist with Hogg. He has turn, a bit of bounce and some good suttle variations. He just got bashed by some of the most expierenced players of spin. Even then, he took some wickets and look the manner he took his wickets in. Some good classical dismissals in where a bowler sets up a batsmen like he did with Ganguly (who is known to be a pretty decent attacking player of spin).

If Hogg plays in Pakistan, he will do well or relatively decently. Pakistan have always struggled to left arm spinners and with his variation....he could be dangerous.

Hauritz, like most of the young Aussie spinners, struggles to get a game for his state and even then is usually ineffective. A telling sign is that only one spinner in Aus domestic cricket has an average of under 35 this season (and he is 35 years old).

Hogg, like the rest, struggles to get a game for his state and his figures in state cricket are pretty poor. Considering he is 37 years old and we have preferred using Symonds and Clarke at crunch time (ie last day of a Test on a spinning wicket) he is almost gone.

MacGill pulled out of yet another game on the weekend so he is unlikely to make Pakistan, so Hogg will probably get in by default. Our best spinner on form is Bryce McGain, who is 35 and only really made the state side this year - the cupboard is almost bare for us, we may have to play 4 quicks and use part timers for spin.

The two young contracted Aussie spinners have averages of 60 and 103 respectively this season (Cullen & Bailey)

wuhoooooooo we won!!!!!!!!!! well done chote chote u19 players!!! u guys always make us happy...keep it up n bring the cup back home
