Pakistan's main two batsmen are at the crease now ... these two need to hang around!

Crazy batting by Pakistan. You would think that, being only one down after 30 overs, they would be cruising towards victory. Instead, they have dug themselves into the depths of defeat. I expect the rest of the batting to crumble under the weight of the run rate.
 
Need a bit of a miracle now, or Bangladesh to spray it about everywhere.

and hopefully score runs as well, we have had enough of people hanging around.
 
The Bangladeshi Afridi "Shabbir Rahman" has had a good game so far. Hit 34 from 21 balls and has picked up a wicket too.
 
Pak need to score almost the same score (130) as BAN in the final 18 overs.

Well now is the time for them to step it up. Azeem Ghumman looks like he's getting singles off each ball, but Babar has been in long enough that he needs to start scoring some runs.

As long as they don't get flogged in this game the have qualified ... I think it may partly be the reason for this slow going by the openers.
 
Pakistan hardly have pace bowlers in this team...they all failed wrist test.

Are Bangladesh using wrist test? Protest time.
 
our captains are not used to think out of box.
When he saw the slow start he should have sent in one of the hitters at no.3 so we could get back on track.

But let us see if he can play quickly himself.
 
Still possible to win imo if these two stay for another 7-8 overs. I think if you swing the bat with 8 wickets in hand you should at least get close to 250.
 
West Indies must be furious at Pakistan now.

At the moment it seems they are struggling even holding a bat in their hands.
 
Either this is one of the worst chases or one of the best by a pakistani team.

I hope they are yet to take the last PP.

Don't care what they look like, they should just tay out there until the 43rd over.

Yes we have 4 power hitters waiting: usman qadir, hammad azam, sarmad bhatti adn shahzaib ahmed.

But the problem is these two at the crease are consuming to many deliveries. They should start slogging now.

So I guess these guys are chasing 200 not 250. That would explain the rr.
 
any1 knows how many runs Pakistan need to make to win the group despite losing this match?
 
Ijaz Ahmed was an aggressive batsman wasn't he? Surely he must have sent some messages out there. First six by babar!
 
81 needed of last 10 overs with 8 wickets in hand. Shouln't be a big problem this InshaAllah.

Fair enough yaar, we'll give him the benefit of doubt for now. I'm all for bringing in youngsters, because they are the ones that can really make a difference. The only thing is picking the right ones, who are up to or can get up to the standard of International standards, and that should be based on merit and talent...

Although, I still firmly believe that if we can THINK about some of these things, then a player such as Shehzad should realize that him playing down so slow will make the run rate go up, and therefore, if he is just blocking and blocking, it's better to get out, then take us out of the game. So, that kind of thinking or applying yourself in different situations should be there, specially if you have played International cricket before.

Lost last 3 wickets for 9 runs ... not only the seniors are capable of collapsing.
 
68 runs required in 7 overs ... someone needs to start teeing off here. We've still got 5 wickets in hand so gotta go for it.

No ... WI and Pak are on 4 each and Bang are on 2.

Bang need to win this, Pak can probably afford to lose this now and WI need Pak to win to get through.
 
Only 3 runs off that over ... 60 runs needed off 5 overs. I feel the Pakistani players are playing for the next round not for the win.

Bangladesh are one of the favourites for this competition, so they should get some credit here too. But really dissapointed in Pakistan's tactics today.

Yeah..i wonder too...I know Pak batting is the strongest in the tournament..but didnt look great against Bangladesh tonite tho...
