I don't want to say this but Hafeez will have to take this game for us, in the past the batsmen we depend on has failed us tremendously even if he has scored a ton in previous innings and chasing is literally not our cup of tea.

Today our openers have to go after the bowling. I expect English spinners to do well today.
 
Our pace bowling attack have still kept it tight even though they couldn't break through

Root has quitely worked his towards 50 without breaking sweat.
 
Batted Halesy.

He's been out in the nineties a couple of times. Perhaps this will be the start of sustained success for him.

We have some of the worst bowlers in international cricket. Zulfiqar Babar, Anwar Ali, Yasir Shah(in ODI's), Rahat Ali(in ODI's)
 
Good news is 7 out of 9 overs will be bowled by irfan and wahab. Maybe anwar and iftikhar can just squeeze one each after this and leave it to those 2 then
 
See I told you they would bounce back... England to win by 150 runs and to take the series 3-1 because Pakistan can't win series deciders against decent teams!!!
 
Why is Yasir bowling? :( Wahab and Irfan can bowl 7 of the 9 and a couple for either of Iftikhar or Anwar. No need to bowl Yasir.

Well...we have Mohit, Arvind and Bhuvi (I don't mind him though) bowling in ODIs (under Dhoni) for us and our next ODI series (excluding Pak series) is in Aus. :))

Only God knows what will happen there.

What has happened to this bowler called Harshal Patel? Something like that. I thought he's a good option. Never seen Arvind. Bhuvi can be good. Mohit is pretty useless. Where is Shami?

Give it a rest. Yasir will be replaced by Gohar in limited overs soon enough. Anwar hasn't been all that bad recently angle is good as an all round option.
 
Nothing in this pitch for the bowlers. Abu Dhabi is the worst venue in the UAE, be it the UFO-looking stadium or the horribly flat pitches.

Just piling on the runs.
 
No one said this when Anwar took wickets last match now suddenly he is being rated as the worst bowler lol , I reckon still he bowled well in the first spell

Shami recovering. He is our hope in ODI. We Indians always have that 1-2 pacers where everything rests.

Aaron for some reason has been very accurate after the change of the wrist thingy. Let's see if he can keep it tight. Could be useful in ODis.

Yadav is a bit of lost cause when it comes to accuracy.

Harshal Patel hasn't been selected. Maybe didn't do well in domestics.

Arvind is a typical left handed trundler who does nothing. Even worse than him is Dhawal who sprays the ball around at 120 kmph.
 
Pakistan have not bowled bad, England have been excellent today and very proactive though.

300 is chaseable but won't be easy.
 
If we can keep the <300, it'll be a big win and we will be favourites. This pitch is a batting galore.

So what is your attack for ODI and test?

Pick 3 fast bowlers. 2 spinners.
 
pakistan need to hit the stumps here, 2 run out chances missed.
 
Tbh I think England have been a bit cautious these last few overs. Should have gone for a bit more imo. But they will still win this game no doubt.
