50 for Babar, well played! needs to get a big 100 here!

In all honesty. Morgan is a pathetic captain. He is more defensive than Azhar. Only a really bad bowling lineup can allow Pakistani batting to score such runs.

I'm now nervous these two will give it up somehow, because we need them to stick around.

Lion hearted performance by Pakistan till now.

Honestly.

The thing is we will probably lose, as we know Pakistani oh too well, but Babar Azam really has me excited going forward. I am not claiming him some superstar, but how can one not be excited at least a tad bit.

We as a team still have quite a few batting weaknesses though, most of it really is mental. We also have an opening problem which I think is solved when Harris returns. Drop Shehzad, move Hafeez up, move Harris at 3, and Babar at 4. Let's see what Malik does going forward at 5, Rizwan 6 and Sarfraz 7 (though I would prefer to switch Rizwan and Malik), and go from there.

Oh my Malik pulled a short delivery. I cannot believe it.
I witnessed this with my own eyes.

If only our damn bowlers could've kept it tighter, 300-310 target and we'd be favourites at this stage.

If we get to 200 before 30 overs. Game is ours.

Actually, that 3rd wicket was needless, otherwise PAK is in upper hand. Half way through &. Asking hasn't gone higher - now the dew factor should come into equation.

For these type of chase, u need one to post 150+... Not sure Babar or Malik can do that, but MoHa could gave.

That's a gift. Good innings but needed him to stay out there and get a ton.

Out Babar nearly throws it away.

I had posted in a thread that most of our batting problems are mental. We don't play positively, look at the difference when we change our thinking and intent

Damn it, Babar gone too. Great timing Babar

Well, this kid did really well in tight situation. I think we're going to lose, but I appreciate that they played aggressive.

mindless shot! lack of maturity there! we could have chased this down without daft shots.

Told you latest of the Akmal clan was really troubled by Rashid and he was on the brink of losing it with every ball he faced, finally been put out of his misery.

Babar should be addressed by the coach, if he has to stay he has to play big innings and take the team home , Maqsood also started his careers by 50s and he is no where the team now
our batsmen lack the ability to play big innings , they just make a 50 and think that their job is over

Never mind the wickets, this is a big chase so wickets will fall all we need to do is keep up with the rate until the last ball is balled.

Good innings comes to a end although he should have carried on.

Babar should stay at this position, shouldn't be moved up or down.

Something is shaping up for Pakistan. Its interesting.

As for this game, you never know. Sometimes its just one of those games. SA-Aus, Ind-Pak in Dhaka (where we chased 317 in 47 overs), India-SL in Hobart, etc.

As with any 350 target, few wickets can change the game but as of now, momentum with Pakistan. If they get close to 275 with these 2, they will win.

Just as I am typing Babar is out. Game over I think. These 2 needed to bring it to 275 together. Let's see if the next 2 do it.

Always need to get close to the total first without letting rr go beyond a crazy rate.

51 of 50 balls. He used up too many deliveries. Should've stayed on and gotten a century.
Another akmal innthe making.

Why Babr Why? Don't see us winning unless :malik stays till the end. Seldom chased such a total before, have Pak. Rizwan and Sarfaraz need to score over a run a ball.

Run rate is not the issue. Taking the game to the final stretch is.

If these 2 stay till 275 at a decent rate (even a touch below the ideal one), its ok cos Pakistan have a seriously good chance.

Losing wickets is WHAT kills these game.

Rankings are justified. A shame that England don't play Bangladesh otherwise they would've slipped below them.

I think with Babar's wicket we've lost but I'm really happy they didn't go into the shell. Every one of them just came out, put their head down and tried to rotate the strike, pounce on mistakes, and keep the score going (with the exception of Shehzad).

This will be a sad loss, but not one as mind-numbingly frustrating as the last ODI.

Babar showed immaturity which is fine - he showed talent and ability which is far more important. The 50s will become 100s eventually, patience, he's what? 21?

Need to keep wickets now

When Rahane and Dhawan were batting in 5th ODI, I said the same.

Wickets is SUPER IMPORTANT in 350 chases.

No 2 ways about it.

You don't have to tuk tuk but you sure as hell need to take the game to the deep end.

Last game Rizwan did not read Rashid at all from hand. Atleast what he does today.

7 per over in 25 overs is easy than 50 but need to conserve wickets

Everyone is saying "wickets are fine as long as you keep scoring." Not really, it's silly to count on Wahab and Anwar to stick around and score through 10 overs.

One more wicket and I warrant it's over

Yep this is not how Pakistan thinks unfortunately but this is the way to go...24 overs to go with wickets in hand they can chase it down.

Why do we lose wickets at the wrong time? Like when you get that feel good factor its followed by an anticlimax? Other teams never let the initiative go.

They really really really need to stick around. Even if you slow the rate a little, do not throw away your wicket! Please stick till the 35th+ over. There's a loooooong way to go.

Yes need to calm down a little

How come Pakistan gave 130 runs in last 10??? - Anwar Ali is not even club level when it comes to last 10 overs
