Pakistani players have unfortunately been smart only rarely - eg., Imran, Wasim, Miandad.

Just listen to the commentators. The dumbest ones on show are Waqar, Rameez, and to a lesser extent, Aamer. At least 2/3 are former captains of Pakistan.

By contrast, Nasser is a former captain of England, and it is clear he has a far superior IQ, and it's nothing to do with a language issue.
