according to an Indian website (not the most reliable source I know), Rana got dropped due to 'politics' within the team. Apparently he must have fallen out with someone. :P

I think it was because of his poor show with the bat, didn't even get into double figures.

are these speed guns working fine one bowl they clock at 133 kph n the next at 110 kph.........34 now end of the over butt retains the strike

nah i think he needed a bit of rest remember he is getting old..........if u look at his real age based on his baldness :D 2 more runs to butt was in the air though

not a bad start so far, India getting some swing but have not put it to great use.
 
swings disapearing now.........n the patnership is nudging closer to the 50 mark....40 pak , 6 runs from that over!

U can't say its gonna be a draw already. The pitch is expected to do a bit from day 3 onwards.

it always does first morning of a test match the first hour or a session esp the bowl being brand new...........it wont swing as much now!!!! :30:
 
faisalabad deserves as many tests as they can get. passionate crowd, great first class team, one of the largest cities in pakistan. not really bakwas in my book.

and you've got more akalmand than Waqar Younis, Dean Jones, Michael Holding and Arun Lal...... all of whom think the pitch will do something later in the game, i.e. keep low / turn / reverse swing.

Think about what you say sometimes.

what a dumb dismisal reminds me of butt dismissal in india when he was ducking n ball hit the bat n went to slip shoaib goes out ..49 for 1 now pak

terrible terrible dismissal. malik leaves his bat pointing upwards and the ball loops up to be taken by dravid in the slips. well caught in the end, but a sad way to go after getting a decent start once again.
 
i feel with that dismisaal of malik u can say preety much bye byz to seeing malik as an opener in the next match or in any test match for that instance.......what a relief for some ppl...........cracking pull by butt .....4 runs 53 for 1 now

its called a prediction, you don't have to watch 5 days to make a prediciton on the result.

MoYo has almost done this a few times so this isnt new in the Pak camp - Malik just got it right !
 
butt continues in angry mode! first ball pulled through midwicket, next one driven to extra cover for a couple of boundaries.
