Yk is good in his own right but hes got along way to go before he can be compared to Dravid. Actually Dravid is one of the best, technically gifted batsman around. When do you see him making any mistakes? You need to pull off a wonder delivery to get the great man out!!! ACtually India have been blessed with 3 very good batsman at the same time, all of which occupy key positions. But like the Aussies, there batting golden age is coming to an end.......

ACtually i was thinking more of Sehwag than VVS, even though i think VVS is an AXCELUNT player but hasnt get that X-factor that Sehwag and the other 2 have. I also give it to Sehwag because his record against everyone (esp against the Aussies and Paks) is top notch.

true but sehwag is not retiring soon ... when u mentioned the three who are about to retire .. .sehwag is automatically excluded. Also, he is not in the same technical class as Dravid, Tendulkar and VVS. He plays exciting cricket and does not know any fear in the world. That's why he is so successful.

Yeh true he hasnt been prolific of late but his presence in the team is felt. Having a great player like him is always a major bonus. But i do agree, once Dravid goes, India will not be the same. The way he played the Pak bowlers, quite extrodanary.

Personally i still wont bother declaring unless the pitch does something major tomorrow. Why tire out our bowlers if a result cannot be obtained? Give the guys a rest and wait for the Karachi test.
