Starting to see why Taylor was so frustrated out there.Thing is its just going to get harder to bat. The ball wasn't coming on to the bat at all for Taylor and co.

Anything over 200 to chase and Pakistan lose the script.
Had he come himself, you would have said, Misbah is depriving Haris of a chance to score a century because he wants to keep his place.
He could done by a good ball. Nothing about pressure.Syed: "I would put the blame of Shehzad's wicket totally on Shafiq, not able to rotate while Shehzad was looking good, made him cold. Pressure on!!!
Misbahs place is garuanteed. He is the number 5 batsman. Instead of coming in early to stop the collapse he is pushing himself lower down the order. Of course you're one of the posters who believes PP only has two groups. Afridi and Misbah. Shame.
Lets hope not. We need him to win us the game lol
Once again, what does pressure have to do with Shehzad not being able to read the quicker arm ball?Shafiq is the culprit for Shehzad's wicket totally, not able to rotate while Shehzad was looking good and in the end pressure got Shehzad!!!"

Sohail doesnt look international material to me. Lets hope I am wrong.
He is giving a youngster a chance to showcase his talent.
now what's the problem with that?
Still. Strike rate has to be given some consideration. We are the slowest side (even slower than Bangladesh) as far as strike rate is concerned.
Totally agree with you! but who would you replace these players with? They all have the same problem. We kept getting collapsed game after game, and that forced the batting culture to change. This is a process, and if we start to win game on consistent basis, then I am sure it will change. Unfortunately, it will take time.
Tests and ODIs are completely different. Most of these batsmen have no middle game (single & double) they are bound to struggle and will get exposed in limited format. Even Shehzad has an extremely pathetic strike rate of 71, thats ridiculous.
Yes they are, does not mean that a test form can't be looked at when picking up players for Odis, ask any selector for any country. Yes, Rotating strike is the biggest problem we have, we better fix this or we are doomed.
Umar Akmal is just anotherdecision. But i guess thats what happens when a tried and tested failure like Younis Khan is forced back into the team.
Yes, Umar Akmal should never be dropped, but then again this guy has some big time mental issues. Let me ask you a question, what would you do if you are the captain of the team and a player like Umar Akmal totally refuses to listen? Of course, You would drop him to teach him a lesson. Don't worry, he will play odis for the rest of his career, but every now and then he would get dropped until he begins to take his job seriously. Look at him, his mind is always somewhere else, looking good and all
Hafeez btw has no future in cricket anymore as his main weapon is gone !
Now you know how I felt when Taylor faced Afridifks i cant believe how much it annoys me to younis hit the ball straight to the fielder but run half way down the pitch non the less
thats probably why people claim he is good at strike rotation![]()

Shafiq is the culprit for Shehzad's wicket totally, not able to rotate while Shehzad was looking good and in the end pressure got Shehzad!!!"
Nothing wrong with giving a chance to youngsters. Wonder where Fawad and Umar Akmal are...![]()
What a soft dismissal.
Soft dismissal for a rocksolid hack.Again this hack Asad presented us an innings of 5 of 17 deliveries with a carrier avg of 26 and SR under 70.Clueless as usual
Haris being hyped up big time here.
Not some many 5 years ago, Umar Akmal was labelled next Tendulkar after hitting Bond and co for a 100 runs.
Memories of goldfish, we have.
Haris looks the ideal ODI number 5 to me.
Fawad is rightly back in domestics.
Umar Akmal is already on the team to World Cup.
Younis Khan is the one messing up the combination.
Had he not played Umar would have been in.
What else to say?
Pakistans second highest run scorer, with the highest average, this year. Rightly back in domestic??
Umar Akmal should be playing, if not for YK then in place of Shafiq. But buddies first i guess
