If its such a highway NZ should rack up over 500 easily.
Just because we aren't able to score on it doesn't mean it's not a highway. India couldn't score on the flat wickets in Aus, does that make it a green seamer?

Now the real fun, either we collapse badly or put up some what of a fight.

C'mon McCullum, need a captains knock from you.

To have any chance of getting close we need 2-3 batsmen to score hundreds.

4.23pm If they had run two, Misbah would have had three successive scores of 101. As it happens, he has three centuries in a row, Younis has four in five innings, and Pakistan have declared in four successive innings, the first time that has happened.

another record.

All about batting time, get yourself in and score big.

NZ will struggle with the lack of bounce and pace in the wicket.

NZ need to look to bat like Pakistan and not worry about scoring rate.

A win is pretty well out of the equation so just bat and bat.

A shame this wicket wasn't used in the third Test, KW could have scored a double on it.

3 Centuries for Shehzad in eight Tests. Before Shehzad, no Pakistan batsman had managed to hit three tons by his eighth match as an opener. Shehzad has scored 575 runs in 13 innings this year at an average of 47.91. Among openers, only David Warner has more centuries than him.

I like this stat. I hope this guy goes on and proves to be a good batsman.

4.30pm We have some news coming in. Ahmed Shehzad has a minor fracture in his skull. His CT scan shows a "depressed fracture of zygomatic arch of skull," according to a PCB release.

Doesnt sound good ........ he might have to miss the test series now?

Brilliant logic.

Such motorways they have produced, that only 9 of the last ten test had results. How could they??

I'm not talking about the last 10 matches, I'm talking about the last 2 matches :afaq

You don't have to be a genius to tell what is and what isn't a flat wicket.

This is clearly a flat wicket, if you don't want to admit that, I don't really care.

Rahat had some good shape, although he looked really slow. That's partly due to the wicket.

I'm amazed at how Pakistanis have managed to remain sane with all these dreadful TV adds on a constant loop

If I hear that damn bubblegum song today I'm going to crack

I was expecting a decent wicket with something early on and decent bounce till day 3, but there was absolutely nothing for the bowlers from day 1.

No bounce, no swing or seam.

After the initial overs it's all for the batsmen.

It is sad it isnt. it is an advantage for both teams and produces more interesting cricket.

Your trundlers weren't gonna get any bounce on these wickets regardless. Aussies had more pace.

It wasn't gonna seam here. Four ways to get wickets here: early swing, reverse swing, cutters and yorkers. Your bowlers only have the first.

Bounce will worry our batsmen, could see a few of our batsmen chopping on or being given lbw.
