Exactly, that's the spirit.

However if NZ somehow manage to pull a draw I will be the first to congratulate them. It will be some achievement.

If they draw this then they deserve beastly accolades as it will be one of the best draws in the game.

If anyone can pull this off, its BM and Ross Taylor. We cannot be complacent here  These two are practically the best clutch players coming from Oceania atm.

McCullum to get a triple ton. Aman to become the King of PP.

Rahat Ali has almost given away as many runs in his 2 overs as he did in 15-16 overs yesterday.

It's the pacers, wait for the spinners to come on and the fieldsman to surround the bat. Trust me, you'll feel a lot more confident when that happens.

hussain.r97 be quiet, you're bad luck for us :moyo

How many overs is McCullum going to last against Zulfi?

Surround the bat and wait for him to nick to a fieldsman around the bat or slips.

Becomes a different ball game once the fieldsman surround you.

You never know with New Zealand. Misbah should let another 100 to score and be in the safe side. 110/120 overs to bowl opposition out are plenty in 5th day wicket.

If NZ win this or draw this then they will really deserve it, no point in adding another 100 or even 50 runs

Somehow i think it has been a brilliant declaration by Misbah. The pitch might be flat even tomorrow. Had Pakistan batted on and set a target of 550, there was a slight chance that NZ would have forced a draw. He has tempted them to have a go at the target. Aggressive batting = more chances = wickets. :)

The only thing i liked about imran khan was his celebration otherwise his bowling is totaly garbage

If NZ can continue this onslaught for 25-30 overs our bowlers can lose the plot because they are very inexperience

nah you want the batsman to be prodding and defending vs spin Misbah has been overconfident imo.

Relax people. This is just like Warner going all guns blazing. As soon as 1-2 wickets fall, they'll be under pressure and fold.

Declaring at 480 is not over confidence, Nothing wrong with declaration This pitch is extreme flat and misbah has given his bowlers extra time to bowl NZ out, if NZ chase this or draw this they will deserve all the accolades for Amazing 4th innings batting

Too brave a declaration for Pakistani standard interesting to see how this results.

Declaring at 480 is not brave it is a sensible declaration if NZ chase this they deserve to go down in History

Misbah and Waqar are tactical failures.

Waqar is a good coach, he's respected by the players and has a commanding personality and the team always plays vibrant cricket in his tenure but he has very little understanding of the game.

From Cricinfo :

Bilal: "Pakistan done big mistake, they should have made 100 runs more. Now it is very difficult for Pakistan to win" I shall take this moment to remind all viewers, Pakistan fans in particular, that New Zealand's score at this point is 47 for 0. They need a further 433 runs to win."

It was baffling to see Misbah declaring the innings before letting the score go beyond a 500 mark, which definitely would have served as a psycological barrier to New Zealand batsmen. Seeing the quick 50 they have been able score, it wouldnt be hard to chase down the target given that they play slin well.

Giving enough time to bolers to take 10 wickets on this pitch was vital, not a tactical blunder by any stretch of imagination
